Title: Gone with the Blastwave
Post by: LeeC on 19 Jan 2010, 22:19
was recently introduced to this comic and I must say I rather like it.  Its not updated too often because the artist/author does other projects too but he hasnt retired it.

It hasn't been updated for about a year and a half, and he's moved on to new projects.

Yeah, it's really unfortunate it's pretty much dead.

Also, it was updated last april, so "only" 9 months ago.

I'll believe it when I see it.

The guy does have some real artistic chops, it is the best-drawn webcomic I can think of.

There's been an update as recent as April. This year's April.

Spoiler alert: April fool's

More interesting, though, is this other apocalypse-themed webcomic featuring men with masks: Romantically Apocalyptic (http://www.romanticallyapocalyptic.com/home).

Quote
HOW?

Using: Photoshop, live actors, dead actors, sexy assistants, greenscreen, a camera, and a Wacom tablet. Each comic page is meticulously digitally painted and contains 6 years worth of textures: 1 terabyte of stock footage, shot in real abandoned, forgotten places of our world.

It is seriously impressive.
