http://www.1119732.net/
-

-
is that the one i heard they had good sounds
-
hey i just heard about this!
i kind of think its bullshit but i would be quite happy to be wrong.
-
oh yeah these guys (http://www.myspace.com/cosbyoublackentertainer)? pretty cool
-

Well, the ATP website does confirm it.
-
As does Godspeed's own website (http://www.1119732.net/) so it's definitely true
-
New album or who cares.
-
uhhh because a live show would still be awesome
-
New album or who cares.
The tens of thousands of people who never got to see them live, you wanker.
-
I think perhaps the use of the phrase 'who cares' was a poor choice here.
What I mean is, there's no way in hell I'll make it to that particular occurrence of All Tomorrow's Parties.
Unless they tour anywhere near me, I have no hope in hell of seeing this and I'm sure for plenty of other people the same is true.
Therefore, unless new material comes out or their tour more extensively, I don't care.

Being self centered is cool.
-
No Australian show(s), what a surprise.
-
are any of those other live dates actually listed anywhere yet?
-
So what is the story behind calling themselves god's pee?
Also: Fuck yes if they come near here, which they probably wont.
-
Being self centered is cool.
Hey, I'm glad they're back. But this makes literally no difference on my life at this point.
-
Thanks for informing us.
-
I AM SO HAPPY I KNOW THAT NOW
-
Seriously now, how many of you guys are going to make it to this festival?
-
I'm going to go.
-
Praying for a New York or Philly date although I guess I could potentially make it to Boston or DC if need be. There's gotta be at least one in NY, right? Of course tickets will be very close to impossible to get so there's that as well. I'm just hoping for the best.
-
I'm hoping as they're Canadian they'll be considerate to their fellow countrymen and come to Toronto.
it's funny, A Silver Mt. Zion are going to be coming in a month and there's not even a hundredth of the demand to go see them that this is getting
-

it aint just atp man
current plans=a.t.p.u.k, a handful of british and european shows, and then 9 american towns

So far I plan on going actually. It's my friend's birthday that weekend, so that's the plan!
-
the way i see it, they should hopefully play dc and they will definitely at least play new york.
shit i would be willing to plan a trip to europe if they were only doing atp.
-
yeah i would probably go anywhere in the midwest for this show
-

That's not surprising in the least. Not only has SMZ been touring and releasing material pretty consistently the entire time Godspeed's been on hiatus, they're also not nearly as good.
-

Come on, you wouldn't travel to Montreal for this?
-
Well you guys who are making it are lucky to actually get to go. I've just ended up resolving (subconsciously because I don't remember making this decision) to not be bothered when bands I like reform and don't tour anywhere near me.
-
I thought you were in the UK? If there are multiple shows in Britain like it sounds, one should be decently close, shouldn't it?
-
I could theoretically get to a Manchester show were they to come anywhere near, the question would be 1. when it was and 2. whether I could financially manage it.
-
Come on, you wouldn't travel to Montreal for this?
I might if I had a car right now.
-
whoa! This band like ACTUALLY changed my life when I was about 16 and angsty. I'm pretty excited, the two songs they wrote just before their hiatus were very nice.
Shame they will never come to Australia because constellation bands never do. :(
-
"good luck! black president" -george w. bush
-
the two songs they wrote
....
Not even going to say anything.
-
As soon as I saw the word "song" I absolutely knew in my heart that you were going to say something eventually
-
I swear to fuck do not make me fifty hitler this thread
-
Woop woop this is the Waaaaambulance, I heard someone was getting their dick knotted over something absolutely pathetic.
-
more shows!

-
I am going to see them in Manchester and I am going to enjoy it.
-

-

I like SMZ better.

Sigh, the British get to have all of the fun D:
The band website said they were playing 10 North American dates as well so we get to have some fun also!
What kind of venues are they playing in England? Big concert halls or smaller clubs? I'm assuming where they play there will be indicative of where they play here and I'm trying to gauge how annoyed I'll be by the venue choice.
-
Dovey is Australian
-
I'll be in 'murka after July though!

Place I'm seeing them has capacity of 2300.
-
the glasgow venue is 2000 capacity.
-
Tickets for two NYC shows available, both in small, awesome venues: http://wordlessmusic.org/

Oh, whoops, should I have said movements? Pieces?
From what I've experienced of the band through interviews etc I do not think they would care what I called their "songs". In fact they'd probably hate us all for even liking their music.
I got over thinking i was cool for listening to gybe in about 2005
-
holy mother of fuck
i think gy!be turned me into a poet
-
Me and the roommate are seeing Godspeed You! on Saturday in SF SUCKADICK FOOLS
-
dude come on that joke fell flat the first time
