He speaks fluent German, and is totally awesome and great and a fantastic barista(won the award for the Best Barista In St. Louis!!!) and a fantastic baker/chef.
Basically, I have a (very bestest ever)friend who is attending Columbia College Chicago, he majors in film. However, since he isn't taking any summer classes, he is being booted from his dorm...uh...tomorrow. Currently, he is staying with a friend for a week, while he looks for a place. He starts at Intelligencia on Monday, and is willing to trade German lessons, and probably a few dinners, and his weekly benefit fro work(1/2 lbs of coffee! Good Coffee!) for a place to crash while he finds a place to live.
I know a few of you live in and around Chicago, and if anyone could help him out(a place to stay! Or even better a place to live![know any good places for rent?]), it'd be totally awesome and would not go without a thanks and possibly delicious treats!

Baristo
Actually, in Italian, 'barista' is used for males and females. Only the pluralization is different: 'baristi' for multiple males, 'bariste' for multiple females.

I love how rapidly this thread went off track.
If it helps, he could find about twenty-five friends and rent a three-storey mansion of a house in the Latino quarter, that's pretty fun.
