It's a bad time to be a much-loved celebrity, it seems. Dennis Hopper has passed less than a year after being diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Not a lot I can say besides the news article. Here's to you, Mr. Hopper.

The world has lost one of its true sons of bitches.

Made some great films in his day, as an actor and director. Easy Rider was epochal. Nicholson got all the fame but Hopper was just as good if not better.

Crazy to think that I saw him with his family just this winter at a Jason's Deli in our shared hometown of Kansas City.

What a shame.  Great actor.
