I know there has to be a thread before about this, but since forum search functions are generally exceedingly cumbersome i think it would be best to suspend the possible kerble and just blaze ahead:
What are y'all's favorite blogs to read about cool stuff? here are some of mine:
BLDGBLOG (http://bldgblog.blogspot.com/) is an excellent, if far-fetched blog about architecture, urbanism and geography. Mr. Manaugh has a tendency to do the whole "what if, like, people were buildings, maaaan" thing but it is a fascinating wellspring of information, arresting images and insightful thoughts so i don't care. In a similar vein there are:

Shit My Kids Ruined (http://shitmykidsruined.tumblr.com/) I almost hurts to look at because I just cringe, but I can't stop checking it out.
What Claudia Wore (http://www.whatclaudiawore.com/) For the ladies (and gentlemen?) that read The Babysitter's Club when they were little. Claudia's outfits seem even crazier when you read about them now.
