OK, try this. Or don't. I know there are people out there like me who can't recognize everything in their music collections.
Put everything on shuffle. Keep skipping through songs till you come across one you can't correctly match to an artist (if you can do that without seeing the song info). Give the number of songs you knew and the artist and song title where you stumbled.
# songs: 14
stumbled: The Cardigans - Sick & Tired (I think I burned out on them just before I got this album. Nice and catchy.)

Franz Ferdinand - Feel the Pressure

# 3
"El Universo Sobre Mi" - Amaral
This song is kind of too 90s guitar rock for me. I think my sister put it on for me at some point. No idea whether I liked it then.
And now I never have to hear it again! I like this game.

wait do you listen to the whole song and then see if you can identify it? because I was like, "Who the hell is this" in the first five seconds and gave up, but if I gave it time I would have recognized it
do you have to recognize both the artist and the song, as well, or just the artist?

Damn I thought this was going to be a thread about how awesome shuffle beats are.
Oh well at least now I've got a shuffle beat going in my head - suddenly everything's great!

41. Got caught on "Lies" by the Knickerbockers--I knew the song, but I didn't remember the group's name. That's the problem with awesome garage rock comps, I guess.

Considering my rate of music accumulation this probably won't last long.
