Just found out from reading the comments that on some pages, instead of a comic index link between the navigation arrows, there's a link to a journal entry. About to make a run through to see what that's all about.

Chapter 2 finished a few days ago. The comic will be on hiatus until Chapter 3 starts on January 24th.
Really fantastic art the last few pages of this arc, and I can see there being a shift in the balance of power between the characters now. Can't wait to see what's in store.

In case you need a reminder, the comic is back with Chapter 3 now. 8 pages posted as of this moment, looking exquisite as usual. During the hiatus, she's also put up some additional background material on the site.

Chapter 3 is just about concluded, then there will be a short hiatus until Chapter 4 begins on June 3rd.
Nothing spectacular happening this chapter, but a lot of nice details added to the background of the world and characters, and some setup for later. The art is fantastic as usual.

This woman definitely DMed a few games with a player who had a thing for prepubescent girls. They just keep showing up.

I guess I soured to the comic pretty quickly because it feels like an anime (dark mysterious obscured-faced wizard from an oppressed minority travels and has adventures, does right by innocent people with wacky sidekick) filled with characters from D&D games I've played. The players who roll Chaotic Neutral tiefling rogues exactly like... Assete was it? They're the worst.

Yeah, but it's still not rape, though more gruesome in a lot of ways, granted. The details of the scheme haven't been revealed, but later this guy talks about using children because his client pays by the person, therefor he gets paid more for less of whatever product they're smuggling inside the bodies. The other kid ends up with a scar on his chest from the same procedure.
I can understand not getting into it, though. The characters are definitely ones you either can't stand, or get really interested in.

Actually, the girl really really reminds me of a character from somewhere else, but I can't think what. Possibly a David Eddings book? David Eddings stock little girl character is normally an incarnation of a slightly mischievous Goddess, but it's been ages since I read any of them.
