Man, 2011 is turning into a real cunt, already.

First there was Pete Postlethwaite, and now I'm finding out that Gerry Rafferty has passed away (http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2011/jan/04/gerry-rafferty-dies-aged-63) as well. Dude had a lot of problems of alcohol, was 63. Responsible for Baker Street (best saxophone line, guitar solo that sounded like lasers) and Stuck in the Middle With You (best song for removing ears)

We're 2 in 4 days people. Fuck this shit.

We were so excited by the transformation of modern medicine by antibiotics, the NHS and stuff, that some of us resolved to make a life of not dying.   It's working well for me so far...

It is everything you want it to be.

Mostly I figure it's better than making a new thread for every dead dude or lady plus being able to mention folks who died who might not warrant a full thread on their own (like, say, Gerry Rafferty) plus it'll be a solid reminder that 2011 sucks just like last year did and next year will.
