Whatever incentive was left in me for buying Bulletstorm vanished when I read it came with GFWL. Even the Steam version, for fuck's sake.

Bulletstorm always sounds like a good idea for me until I remember that Duke Nukem Forever is coming out.

I originally made this topic when I was in the midst of being dicked around by Arkham Asylum's GFWL shit, and it was constantly telling me that I needed to update.  After the second or third time I realised that it probably didn't have admin rights, ran it outside & let it update and all was better.  However, I still don't like the idea of having to do fucking GFWL bullshit inside a game delivered to me by Steam when Steam already does all the same fucking shit that GFWL does.

I don't know why MS has to constantly provide half-assed bullshit alternatives to every single fucking thing online.  No wonder their online services department consistently makes a loss.  It's a goddamned clusterfuck of ill-conceived, half-baked & poorly executed knock-offs.

FUCKING

I'm not even sure why it exists. Does Microsoft demand that all PC games have GFWL if they want to see an xbox release?

And then there's the fact that I have three separate programs/services that I need to be logged into to play GTA4. All duplicating the features the others provide for no good reason.

Negative. Fallout New Vegas saw simultaneous release on all platforms and it was Steamworks game.
