I've been trying to get a decent N64 emulator to work on my mac (OSX 10.6.6 Intel) but either I'm loading them up wrong or they're all terrible.
I tried sixtyforce and mupen, but sixyforce had really wonky screen issues - I could only see the top half of the game screen, and sometimes the rom wouldn't even load. Mupen wouldn't load anything.
Are there any other mac-friendly emulators out there, or is there a secret way to run one of these two that doesn't suck?

Have you tried Project64?
edit: apparently it does work: http://forum.pj64-emu.com/showthread.php?t=1227
edit2: okay that thread is quite redundant unless that guy actually is telling the truth about being able to make an installer. I guess you could try it but I think the current version of PJ64 comes in a .exe file.

Yeah Project 64 is basically not an option unless I want to run Boot Camp, and I don't have the hard disk space to throw on a Windows OS just for some nostalgic gaming.

what about trying to run it through WINE? Could your computer handle that?
