Elisabeth Sladen, who played one of the most well known of The Doctors companions, Sarah Jane Smith has passed away.  She was 63.

In reading about her death I found out that Nicholas Courtney, who played the Brigadier, died in February.

At the very least, Sarah Jane got to meet Eleven. The Brig sadly never did. Now both get to ride in the Whomobile with John Pertwee in the vast sea of stars for eternity.

I so hope Moffatt tributes both of them in a special.
