I don't know why I like this show but I'm happy as fuck it's back.

Man, the new Sheriff is a dick.
OH SHIT, the Yuppie arsehole in hipster leathers is the preacher from Deadwood. May have a nervous tic, good enough.
Urgh, Hale is gross, stupid mayor!
Sheriff is a dick but he doesn't trust Hale, yay!
Gentrification is the worst.
I'm pretty sure the sheriff is Det. Gustafson from Terriers. I fucking miss Terriers.
I'd totally forgotten about the ammo-manufacturing/distribution deal with the Wahewas. Really nice callback.

That long haired FBI guy talks SO FUCKING STRANGE. It's kind of annoying, but I can see him being a pretty great character.

I love the callbacks/whatever, btw. My friend texted me last night with his death count (7 Russians and a Mexican), until I pointed out

that the guy Otto killed in prison was a Russian. This harks back to one of the season previews on the extras of the season 3 DVD where Jax was shanked by two Russians
