Title: SPONTANEOUS INTRODUCTION INTERLUDE!

Hello everybody!

I discovered QC a week ago and here I am, all caught up, and kind of bummed. I knew I should have paced myself better but I couldn't help it! I was phyched to see that there is a strong active community to talk to so now I wont go crazy between comics.

I'm a 22 year old college student who loves baseball and music. My favorite bands are The Drums, The Beach Fossils, Modest Mouse, Real Estate, RaRaRiot, Ducktails, The Lower 48, Death Cab, Built To Spill, The Shins, and many many more.

I look forward to getting to know you guys.

I'm still awed by a veteran member's observation a couple of days ago that when you've raced through the comics, you're all caught up and kind of bummed, you've found a recovery group in this forum. Being bummed in these circumstances, in other words, is apparently a universal experience for QC fans. I'm a 74-year-old widower who doesn't care much for baseball and loves music. My favorite composers include Faure, Ravel, Bach, Grieg, Richard Strauss and Wagner. I guess it means we have all kinds here. Welcome, and don't forget the sports forum in Chatter. Of course, I ignore it, but YMMV.
