Hi everyone, as you might expect in this topic... I'm new... at least to the forum.
I began to read QC a long long time ago (around 2004 - 2005) and quite far away from a lot of you (at least I suppose) since I live in France.
So as you can guess english is not my native language, even if I can tell (quite modestly of course) that I'm quite good at it. As long as you don't ask me to speak... my accent will break your ears.
I finally decided to register to the forum (on a whim to be honest) if only to tell that I made at least a dozen people discover (and love) QC.
I know Jeph doesn't come here often (and I suppose that when he does he won't read the newcomer section) but here is a message for him :
I love your work and will continue to read (almost everyday) and buy (from time to time).
Thanks a lot for all of it!

Which is why I'm ignoring it.

Carl, I have around fifty of them if you need one...
And welcome to the forum Kawahiem! Er, not to be obnoxious or anything, but can you give us a phonetic pronunciation of your name? I wouldn't want to massacre it in my head and abbreviate it improperly.

I wasn't the one that needed them - he kept on melting new forumite's lugwrenches! I know where he comes from it's a pretty standard greeting*, but some people might take offense (especially at their next flat tire).
* - actually, I know no such thing. I just assume they behave very differently down there...
-
My God, what have I done? 8-)

Something beautiful.
