Great job with the comic
I'm new, I love QC, and I'm interested in audio engineering and recording and the like.
I'm really excited to explore this forum so hi everyone!

Welcome! You'll find a few active forumites in SE Michigan. I retired from there out to Hillsdale area. Do you do much recording? Equipment?
-
Aye, mostly at school though, I'm still in high school. When I record at home it's usually just my amp into a small monitored recording interface. It's nothing fancy but it works and I enjoy it.

My daughter tells me my 9-year-old grandson is getting quite good at guitar. She wants me to help him record when I visit in New York next week. I'll take a couple of cheapo Radio Shack mics, a Griffin USB interface and see what we can do on a Mac and Garageband.

Welcome, new person!
I think there are some others here with the same interest.

Yes, there's a Music subforum down below this one.
And, by the way - unlike Hannelore, you do NOT have to "...read... ALL the posts."
;)

I actually just got done with a (low budget, low effort) show in which we used a backing piano accompaniment recorded on a cell phone for the only song in the play... It worked surprisingly well so I'm sure the RadioShacks and Garageband will sound near professional for your purposes.
And I will definitely be checking out the subforum
