Did some sums. On 19th Nov, 38 new members registered here, and so far on the 20th another 16. Through the 18 earlier days of November 60 new members joined (this includes the response to Jeph's breakdown). For comparison, there were 44 new members during the whole of October. In addition, a higher proportion of the latest new members have joined in by posting.
Welcome one and all!
(Note, you will get different counts from me if your timezone setting is different; I'm on GMT.)

Thank you, and glad to be one of them!
-
I'd also like to welcome all the newcomers! This has been the most educational WCDT since I joined nearly two years ago!
-
We had others that were just as educational (about human nature), but weren't nearly as polite.
That's why they were the "bad old days".
We're much happier to present you with place where ideas can be discussed, rather than shouted down. Along with obsessing over a webcomic, I like to think it makes us one of the less typical / more friendly communities you'll find!
Welcome, all!

I've got 182 new members since November 1st. Very impressive.

Of the 182, how many melted lug wrenches?

Most likely 180. *Shakes fist at Kugai*

Good thing I have an *INFINITE SUPPLY* of lug wrenches! I can foil your dastardly plots ad-infinitum!
-
What a swelling of members.
Oh ... that should be the collective noun!
-
I'm new. >_>

Hi!
You are new.
I am not!
And so are you!
Welcome! and holy crap! controversy still brings the masses!
-
I think it's less controversy this time and more people identifying with the subject matter, which is much better.

I think I meant controversial topics... not sure. °O

Not me. I had no idea QC had a forum until I found it yesterday.
-
Welcome to you all, and I hope you find it a good place (and make it one: your posts make the forum).
-
Hooray, I'm no longer "the new guy"!
-
Heh, sometimes I feel like the new guy.
