Hello everyone, my first post here.
I started reading QC not too long ago (a couple of months) but I managed to power through all of it in short notice.
I listen to a lot of music, always searching for new stuff. I also read a lot of webcomics (like this one and Sinfest).
The strange thing is,one of the songs that I'm listening to at the moment I discover a new comic always gets connected to the comic itself.
Everytime I hear that specific song I think about the comic.
For example, this was the song I was listening when I started reading Sinfest and now makes me think about the comic everytime I hear it.

In the case of QC I was listening to this song.

I was just at the part where Marten and Dora broke up, so the song actually related to the comic in my mind.
Does anyone else have this tendency to link music to comics and if so, what songs did you link to them ? :-P

Welcome, Cinnead!
I think this topic pops up every once in a while in the WCDT (Weekly Comic Discussion Thread), but I think it would be good to collect them in one place like this.
I know one tune I associate with the comic in general, but I don't know who does it, so I'm going to have to do some searching...

Welcome, new person!
-
Atlas - Battles, because Hanners was singing it when she hit her head.

-
Ke$ha - "Stephen"...it makes me think of a creepy girl stalking poor Steve. Hmm...Poor Cosette too.
-
For a similar reason to slydon, "Africa" by Toto.
Though to be fair, that song is so special that I associate about three different things with it. :P
-
"What a Foot Believes."
-
"What a Foot Believes."
Feet believe a lot of things, because they're so full of SOLE.
-
"Put A Ring On It", though I like Angus' lyrics better.

Don't be a heel. :-D

You're treading on his pun...
-
Just so long as it's not on his tounge.
And as for #2381 - this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tG6P2rBU-ho) comes to mind in honour of HIS return.
-
Sorry about the typo - it should have been "fool" - tripped over my own shoelaces, I guess.
-
This is the one that I was thinking of that sort of generally has a feel for the comic as a whole, rather than any one strip or character.
-
Modest Mouse - Missed the Boat. (or anything by Modest Mouse, but this song in particular. Dunno why.)
-
I just listened to that Atlas song, and I can't work out how Hanners could be singing that, since the words are completely indiscernible. I like the rhythm though.
-
Hannelore is just the type who would Google the lyrics.
-
Or she'd just sing "Edamame" over and over...
-
I would say "The First Single" or "She Deosn't Get it" by the Format. They always make me think of QC when I listen to them
-
Anything by Grum, because Jeph's "Best Indie Bands of 2010" post is what got me into them.
-
Could this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jySUpMqmzd4) be Martens intermittent personal theme?
-
"Blueberry Boat" by the Fiery Furnaces.
-
Marten's musical, eh (http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=575)?

Yes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7BQRGXFLJs)
-
A lot of the Alternative and Indie Rock I listen to.

Does anyone actually have a cut of a Ellen Allien mix song?
