Title: How David Weber Orders a Pizza (Sci Fi fans?)
Post by: GarandMarine on 19 Apr 2013, 23:59
It's a wall of text. Prepare yourself. Amusing wall of text lampooning David Weber aside, any one have any sci-fi series recommendations they want to share?

I like to vouch for Ian Douglas's Star Marines series, which is actually three separate trilogies though they are in the same continuity, the first two series in particular are fairly hard sci-fi for military adventure novels featuring the United States Marine Corps whooping serious ass on the surface of Mars and other various planets, moons and where ever else something can be found for violence to be inflicted on. The laws of physics are in full effect for most of the series and most of the tech is possibly viable/realistic. It is however a bit dated (Mid 90s) so some of the ideas aren't quite as up to date as they could be. 5 out of 5 from me and a personal favorite.

What happens next? WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
