I thought the enjoy section was appropriate. I smoke a pipe, occasional cigar and sniff snuff. Would like more cigars, but that gets quite expensive. I can smoke a pipe filled with really good tobacco for a week (or 3 hours of non-stop smoking like I did the other night when the power was out and my phone died) for what an hour with a cigar costs.
I have my first order of snuff coming from overseas which, because of current affairs with regulations, is the only place to get most brands.
I am smoking a corn cob pipe right now filled with a mix of tobaccos I had that ended up dried out and rehydrated with honey dissolved in whiskey. Really good sweet flavor. Corn cob pipes change colors over time and turn from yellow and boring to light brown with a pattern of large yellow spots and small dark brown spots that darkens over time. There's also something about the ritual of packing, doing a charring light, a second light, puffing lightly and slowly for maximal flavor instead of just burning tobacco, tamping periodically and then cleaning it afterwards that forces you to slow down and enjoy it. It's relaxing and can't be done in a hurry. You can, unlike cigars, just let it go out and come back to it later without much in the way of ill effects, though.
So who else loves their tobacco?

I can't stand smoking pipes or cigars because you don't inhale properly, so for me it's like a constant cocktease with no orgasm at the end of it.

Is it appropriate creating this thread having this one (http://forums.questionablecontent.net/index.php/topic,28579.0.html)?

What I'm talking about is more akin to drinking fine scotch for the flavor.(And then enjoying the buzz you get from it afterwards)
-
You don't smoke, the Pipe does. You're just the sucker on the other end.
Yes, I am an ex smoker

If I smoke these days it'scigars. And yes, that gets expensive very fast. So, most of the time I smoke crap cigars but I do have a few Zino's nr. 7 lying around. At 5€ a piece they are way too expensive for every day use ... But they're so good ... The weird thing is that myhighly astmathic girlfriend doesn't react too much to these cigars asto the crap cheap ones.

I wouldn't go that far but I'm sure it doesn't belong in Enjoy.

I don't know if the title of the thread is appropriate. If I were to praise anything about this, then it would be tobacco, not nicotine.
Today I went to the best local tobacco shop (http://tabactrennt.de/site) and bought the first cigar of my life. I wonder if I like the taste. I never smoked anything in my life, but when I was around when my father smoked a cigar a few years ago in Croatia I liked the smell.
So now I have a cigar in front of me from the Dominican Republic, by the swiss company "Villiger". "Dominico" as Corona. Not to be confused with the "Dominico" sold in the US. Different company apparently. I'll probably smoke it tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it.

... do not inhale.
-
I smoke Winstons, but I enjoy a good cigar once in awhile.
-
... do not inhale.
I didn't. Or at least not intentionally… Breathing in through the nose while blowing the smoke out of the mouth doesn't fit together really well…
So, I've spent the last hour with the Dominico. I was surprised by how sweet it was. The taste was completely different from what I had expected (based on the smell of the smoke), but it was interesting. I don't think I'll smoke too often, but I'm sure it wasn't the last cigar of my life.
Maybe I'll try a Cuban next. I'm thinking RyJ Mille Fleurs maybe. (take that Americans!)

Good cigars are ... so ... well, good.
I inhaled once, from a big cigar.
Longest hour of my life.

I must be a nut then. Every bowl of tobacco from my pipe and every puff from a cigar gets inhaled. Fine tobacco has no equal in my book. I will pass on cigarettes every time but if you offer me a Oliva Series G cigar or some Patterson University flake then it will be a Herculean battle of will power to resist.

Flavored cigars guys. I picked one up for about forty dollars. Bit of a chocolaty, cherry taste, subtle but pervasive.
Bliss.
Annnnnnnnnnndddd now I'm sad because I can't afford another.

And thus the pain of enjoying tobacco. It's gone too fast.

Not really, I made that thing last a month.

If you fancy a fine cigar, and you're like me and enjoy a solid Churchill style cigar with a pleasant, robust flavor, then you need to go to a smoke shop and get an Excalibur Conqueror. Set aside two hours with a book for this one, and don't try to go any where once you're done with it.

Enjoy didn't seem like quite the right place for this thread - and I've changed the title to my best attempt at a Freud joke

Sometimes a lame joke is just a lame joke May ;)

You must have amazing lungs and a high tolerance for nicotine. I can't get the smoke down anymore, ever since I quit cigarets.

It's just how I've always done it. I can smoke three quarters of a church hill before it affects me.
-
I accidentally inhaled some smoke from a crap cigar today and I had to excuse myself for quite some time.
-
While I don't smoke, I'm not against lighting up a churchill with some friends every once in awhile for special occasions.
