Yelena Rossini: You can investigate one player per night. If you find Spider, he is automatically protected for that night (and that night only - you'd try to stick with him, but he's an asshole).
You cannot communicate with each other in PMs, even if Player!Yelena discovers Player!Channon.
The New Scum (Villagers)
Spider Jerusalem: The election is only days away. Your columns are being censored, if they get released at all, so you've given up trying to enlighten the shiteating rabble, and gone off the grid. You spend most of your time jerking off, taking drugs from babies, and shooting random political consultants with your bowel disrupter - if you can't beat 'em, you may as well make them shit their pants.
You have no special powers, but if you're the last Scum left standing, your side wins - even if both presidential candidates have survivied. They really fucking hate you.
Mitchell Royce: Spider's frustrated editor, boss, and sort-of-friend, you can PM the moderator to find out where Spider is, but she'll just tell you to fuck off.
The Cat: You smoke too much, you filthy mutant feline. You can lick your asshole once per night. Or as much as you want, really, it doesn't matter to the game.
Malandra Newton: You're a good person, and probably the only honest cop in The City. Sucks for you.
Fred Christ: Small-time rock band manager, turned activist, turned cult leader, turned traitor. Get your shit together, you fuck.
The Presidents (Mafia)
The Smiler/Gary Callahan: You're a fucking sociopath. You loathe The City and all its citizens, but your carefully constructed facade allows you to present yourself as a desirable alternative to The Beast, who has held the Presidency for two terms. Your VP is a clone, your campaign manager is a pedophile, and you totally don't give a fuck. You like oppressing people. The presidency is your ortolan.
The Beast: You're a hedonistic monster, but you're kind of an honest one. You don't give a wet shit about your constituents - you just want to get through the day, and remain in power because it's comfortable. You like being comfortable, and you fucking deserve it. You're better than the scum on the streets, and it pisses you off when they bother you with petty shit like 'poverty' and 'help! help! I'm being repressed!'
