Has anyone played the Sims 2?? How is it? I would buy it... but... *cough* I'm kind of a hobo and I'm broke.

Still waiting for EA to send me my free copy. :D

It is, apparently, more of the same but with nicer graphics and many more little details.

I concur . . why would you want to see your Sims nude? It annoys me looking at them clothed as it is.  BTW, if you haven't been abducted yet and had a -cencored spoiler- then you're not playing the game right. :)

I got it on DVD the day or so it came out for my little sister

1.  If you have the sims with all the expansions, be ready for like 1/20 of the items (but you can color code everything, heh)

2. You're gunna need I'd say at least 512mb RAM, we had to upgrade her from 256, it was unbearable (shes got an AMD 2500+ Mobile, also OCed, as mobiles do)

3. It looks and plays much better, the characters have lots more options.

She likes it.  Hope that helps

I played the GBA version...not bad, but not really that different from Sims the first.....and more annoying...

Never tried it since I never found the fun in Sims 1 (ok, to be honest it was fun for a week but then it was only a repeating experience and I never played it again).

Cant think that Sims 2 is that much better. Smae thing with a few more toys and eyecandy I figure.

I am a grande fan of the Original The Sims game and I love The Sims 2 even more!!!

Sims 2 is oficially my new favourite way to completely waste a few hours. I never played Sims 1: by the time I actually developed an interest, it was impossible to find a copy of the core, because all the shelves were just full of expansion packs

oh, yeah, and those -censored spoilers- are actually pretty cute.

Yeah, the Sims 2 is quite fun... The best part for me is definitly building the houses. Playing with them is OK, but building is much more fun.
