Title: QC merchandise
Post by: katsmeat on 05 Oct 2014, 12:56
I figured Jeph deserved a small kickback from me, on account of my appreciation of the current storyline, so I ordered a Coffee of Doom T-shirt from Topatoco on the 30th. On account of me being also short of T-shirts.

It arrived yesterday after crossing the Atlantic.  Damn-it, I'm impressed and I wanted to publicly say so.  If your torso is in need of covering, I think you could do worse than to wonder over there.

Buying it is also a mild social experiment. In the mid-sized English town I live in, with an extreme reputation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwich) for provincialism, I'm interested to see if any random strangers recognize and comment upon it.

No one in the UK has ever commented on my TEH shirt or Pintsize hoody in several years; but I have seen another of Jeph's shirts a couple of times in the building I work in.

I had a student in a class a couple years back with an LGBT-eriffic t-shirt.

He was given it by a family member.  Never heard of the comic :P

I frequently get comments on my Coffee of Doom shirt and Baking is Science shirts. Then again, I *was* wearing them whenever I worked in a cafe/diner.
