Dear rulers,
serious question: What if I take a QC strip, change the text and post it in this forum.
Would it that be a bad faux pas?
Would it be considered as an offense or disrespect?
Is there an (unwritten) rule not to do that?
Will I get stoned to death, or even worse... banned?

It should be fine - take a look at the QC Captions threads, we do a similar thing every week.

There is no rule against it. In fact, it should be required.
