Title: Filling in the Uncanny Valley.
Post by: Akima on 06 Nov 2015, 03:00
Take a look at the characters in the cut-scenes for Grey Goo. No sign of the Bioware stare, though of course an RTS doesn't have as much dialogue as an RPG. Pretty impressive, especially from a relatively small company. There's some very nice animation of the Beta's four arms too.

I'm impressed. It's almost LA Noire levels of realness, then again that was almost entirely motion capture, and a little "too real".

The problem with LA Noire was that faces looked great and the rest was awful. Just take a look at everybody's hair and you'll know what I mean.
