The funny thing is, in this week's episode of Extra Credits, they were talking about the eternal question of 'why can't anyone make a decent movie about a video game'. Of the of suggestions that was talked about was exactly this. A movie shot entirely from the first person perspective of the protagonist.

Saw a trailer for this today with Deadpool. Looks like fun! Definitely gonna see it. Also I wonder what it'll be like to watch it on Google Cardboard/Oculus.

I saw it before Deadpool too....but I probably won't be seeing it. As much as I love video games it seemed disorienting to me, I could hardly get through the trailer without feeling weird.

Before anyone gets too excited about how innovative this is, go and view "Dark Passage". Made in 1947. I believe the earliest first-person movie dates to 1927; such movies are rare, not new.
