Music that makes you think of punchin' people in the throat and kicking them in the nuts.
For me, it would probably be about any Lamb Of God song or....
At The Gates - Slaughter Of The Soul
Amon Amarth - Bleed For The Ancient Gods
-
Nelly, and any similar hip-hop shit. I just wanna hunt them down, and damage them severly
-
Disturbed- Droppin' Plates, Down With the Sickness
Linkin Park- One Step Closer
Skindred- Bruises, Nobody
god, i'm so 'off' from everybody else's music here.. *sigh* oh well, i likes my music all the same..
-
download the album "two hours to doom" by a band called morser. stand in the middle of the room and get ready to have a sudden urge to punch yourself in the head many many times.
4 vocalists, 3 bass players, 1 guitar and 1 drummer. it's insane.
-
someone explain the need for one bassist let alone three!
Jesus, I could see three guitarists like definatley...,but three bassists...jeez oh man... That can't even be crazy, just boring.
boom bukka boom bukshakaka boom bummm braaamabama
versus
dweeee bakaka broooooooodwwweeeewweeeewweeeee dangaliaweeerreeeee

Linkin Park- One Step Closer
Shit, yeah, listening to Linkin Park makes me wanna waste someone.
Preferably them.

seriously dude, you have no idea. blast beats all over the place, insane vocals, and the bass guitars are so distorted that you can't tell they are bass. it's nuts.
-
Nuts like the cereal or the bread?
I don't know man, it just sounds iffy to me. I will check it out though.
-
If I hear anything involving Morrissey, it makes me want to punch him in the throat and kick him in the nuts.
Does that count?
-
when dillinger hits a groove (a la calculating infinity or irony is a dead scene) i make a t-u-f-f face and bob my head.the fall of troy makes me flip out too.
-
I am unclear, are we talking about bands which we hate so much that they put us in a murderous rage, or bands we like and which stir up primal instincts for murderous rage?
Scenario 1:
Celine Dion – you know that song which I constantly hear. I can't decide whether to take my righteous vengeance on her or the society which bred her.
Techno in general, makes me want to beat on skinny, sweaty, x junkies.
But I have rage issues, I understand this.
Scenario 2:
Pantera – Walk (Respect Walk). My friend once described it as that song which makes me go crazy.
Sick of It All – Borstal Breakout.
Sham 69 – Borstal Breakout. It’s just an entirely raucous song.
Slapshot – Step On It. OK, I used to be one of those Straight-Edge zealots. (Don’t worry, I have woken up from that dream)
Anti-heroes – Criminal Mischief. Oi Oi Oi!
Pretty much anything by Last Resort, football hooligans are just nuts.
And perhaps the ultimate fight song…
The Clash – White Riot. The first song I ever slam danced to.
-
Agreed on the White Riot front...
Also, the obvious choices like Rage and some NIN have a wonderful effect of making me want to run up to someone and stab them in the neck, just, y'know, for fun.
Problem is, when you listen to them along with really really depressing music, as then it gets confusing, and you end up wanting to stab yourself in the neck, which is less good.
-
Cro-Mags - Street Justice
Slapshot - No Friend of Mine
Sheer Terror - Just Can't Hate Enough, Here To Stay
Bruisers - American Night, Never Fall
Slayer - Raining Blood
Madball - Streets of Hate
GG Allin - Drink, Fight and Fuck
I can think of a lot more, but nothing beats Sheer Terror, Slapshot or the Cro-Mags. Well, there's Negative Approach. Anything by them is good to have on whilst throwing punches.
-
The bands that get me fired up:
Superjoint Ritual
Stain'd circa their first album
Lamb of God
From Autumn to Ashes
Glassjaw
Metallica circa Master of Puppets
Rise Against
Candiria (They are AMAZING live.)
Meshuggah
Yep.
-
Big Black and the Jesus Lizard are all I need for such.
-
All time best:
Cryptic Wintermoon - Supersatan
"It won't be nice to, meet up with me, 'cos all I wanna do, is to fistfuck you!"
plus:
Arsis - Maddening Disdain
Impaled Nazarene - Total War/Winter War
Behemoth - Decade ov Therion
Dimmu Borgir - Puritania
Bolt Thrower - Laid to Waste
Carpathian Forest - He's Turning Blue
Marduk - Christraping Black Metal
DevilDriver - Die (And Die Now!)
Gandalf - Nightderanger
Bloodbath - Ominous Bloodvomit
Count Nosferatu Kommando - Get a Gun, Shoot at Random
Arch Enemy - Leader of the Rats
Contrastic - Liars are Winners
Anaal Nathrakh - Procreation of the Wretched
Nazgul - Thrashers From Hell
Finntroll - Slaget Vid Blodsalv
Profanatica - Crucifixion Wounds
Edge of Sanity - Enter Chaos
Cattle Decapitation - Pedeadstrians
Acid Bath - Cassie Eats Cockroaches
More, a lot by the same bands. Marduks 'Panzer Division Marduk' album for example, is definitely an album I could beat someone to the tune of. A lot of these aren't your traditional 'angry' fare, just hard, fast and loud.
-
Candiria (They are AMAZING live.)
Yeah they are.
-
Slayer-Warzone...
just three and a half minutes of the singer repeating...
WARZONE.........WARZONE............WARZONE!!!!!!!
-
Slayer-Warzone...
just three and a half minutes of the singer repeating...
WARZONE.........WARZONE............WARZONE!!!!!!!
Oh man, I forgot another great Slayer tune too... Payback.
I'm going to...
tear your fucking eyes out
rip your fucking flesh off
beat you til you're just
a fucking lifeless carcass
fuck you and your progress
watch me fucking regress
you were made to take the blame
now you're nothing
Holy shit, Kerry King needs a big hug.
-
If I hear anything involving Morrissey, it makes me want to punch him in the throat and kick him in the nuts.
Does that count?
i feel the EXACT same way about dashboard confessional... stupid whiney bugger
-
DRI - 5 Year Plan
Cro-Mags - World Peace, Show You No Mercy
Blitz - Razors in the Night
Cocksparrer - England Belongs to Me
and again, here I go getting myself in trouble...
Skrewdriver - Antisocial
-
Don't worry, I'll take some of the flack from you by letting slip I'm trying to download some Burzum right now.
My picks
Urko - Death Orgasm, Ready To Bleed
Voorhees - Pretty much anything, but Guilt Ridden Pugilist seems like a good one
Out Cold - Just Plain Mean
Stalingrad - Straightout Broken, Traitor
-
I am unclear, are we talking about bands which we hate so much that they put us in a murderous rage, or bands we like and which stir up primal instincts for murderous rage?
going for both.
-
Would it be cliche to say Rage Against the Machine ;)
-
DRI - 5 Year Plan
Cro-Mags - World Peace, Show You No Mercy
Blitz - Razors in the Night
Cocksparrer - England Belongs to Me
and again, here I go getting myself in trouble...
Skrewdriver - Antisocial
To add...
Blitz - Someone's Gonna Die Tonight
Murphy's Law - Someone's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked in Tonight; How to Start a Fight
Scissorfight - New Hampshire's Alright If You Like Fighting
Dropkick Murphys - Fightstarter Karaoke; Barroom Hero; Never Alone
S.O.D. - Milano Mosh
Niblick Henbane - Fair Odds
And if you're gonna get yourself in trouble with a Skrewdriver song, might as well be "Streetfight" ('77 version) since it's about soccer violence.
Generally any oi! is good for fighting. Bruisers, Templars, 4-Skins, and it seems like every Iron Cross song is about throwing punches.
-
Name of the Game by Crystal Method
Holy Fool -- off the BoonDock Saints album.
and for a different feel....
Clumsy by Our Lady Peace
-
Oh and....
Fucking in the Bushes by Oasis
-
the warriors-the cure
anything by ramallah.
anything off of earthcrisis "gamorrah's season's end" (how fucking cliche is that? but it's their best.)
snapcase-guilty through ignorance
x7generationsx-there is no other way
bleeding through-love lost in a hail of gunfire
good clean fun-in defense of all life (for the irony, if nothing else)
anything off of embrace today "soldiers"
oh, and one of my best friends is in a band called heroes dead and gone. they have a song called krcrs that makes me literally punch holes in walls.
edit: for spelling and other retarded errors
-
Let the Bodies Hit the Floor by Drowning Pool
Bring the Pain by Mindless Self Indulgence
stragely...Pet by Perfect Circle
Fucking Greatest Hits, Ambulance, and Cecilia by The Blood Brothers
Fear by Disturbed
This is the New Shit by Marilyn Manson
-
Tomohawk- Rape this day
A Perfect Circle the Outsider (actually this only makes me want to smash a particular type of people to which the song relates but meh its still a violent urge bought on from music)
Tool- Ticks and Leeches
Any song by Dillinger Esape Plan
and for the pure annoying factor anything my little sister pumps up loud in her bedroom next to mine (think avril, britney and other scum of the earth demon harpies) meh there are others im just too braindead to function
-
Celtic Frost - Morbid Tales
Cryptopsy - And Then You'll Beg
Darkthrone - A Blaze In The Northern Sky
Mayhem - Deathcrush
Napalm Death - All of their first three studio albums (Scum, From Enslavement To Obliteration, Harmony Corruption)
Of course, this is only to kick ass in the metaphorical sense of the term. If I feel like I'm going to blow a fuse, I generally don't listen to any music at all because I wouldn't have the patience. If I stupidly fantasise about hurting someone however I put on Black Flag's Damaged album which should shut me up.
-
Fear Factory-Demanufacture
Pantera-Slaughtered
Slayer-War Ensemble
Hatebreed-Tear It Down
Turmoil-Staring Back
Cannibal Corpse-Spine Splitter
Emperor-Thorns on My Grave
Old Man's Child-Soul Possessed
Mayhem-Necrolust
Commin Correct-Two Face
Throwdown-I Will Stand
Zao-Liberate Te Ex Inferis (anything off the albulm)
Vision of Disorder-Imprint
Slipknot-Only One of Us
Snapcase-Zombie Prescription
Also making me listen to the Blood Brothers can make me homicidal, mainly toward them and emo kids though.
-
Venetian Snares - Hand Throw
Nothing like 200BPM Breakcore to get you pumped up. Actually, it just makes me want to go fucking mental, and the ass kicking and such would occur pretty much by accident. Rather than I listen to it, then go and beat the shit out of someone.
-
Tomohawk- Rape this day
i love tomohawk. saw them live, and when they played this song, the entire crowd went nuts. guess your not the only one who gets all antsy when it comes on.
-
Mayhem-Necrolust
Thumbs up.
-
Nercolust is a great track. The closed with it when I saw them live and it was a really brutal version.
Because they got told they had to finish and someone shut their gear off. So a bunch of fans held the tech guy back as Necrobutcher turned it all back on. Then they played the most pissed off and brutal version of it I've ever heard before storming out and thanking us but not the venue.
-
something similar to that happened down in tucson a few years ago. coalesce was playing this really crappy venue, and the bouncers tried to stop the show half an hour earlier than they said they would. when they shut down their gear, sean ingram just started screaming lyrics, with nothing but the drums backing him up. the pit kept going, people were singing along, bouncers were too scared to do anything...man, that show rocked.
-
Nice, very nice.
Reminds me of something else. Pig Destroyer gig, dunno when from no date on the video, but J.R. smashes his mic to bits on the floor when he tries to swing it.
So he just drops to his knees and starts screaming. And you can still fucking hear him over the guitar and drums coming through the amps. Scary and amazing at the same time.
-
oh, i love when that happens. it just gives you chills when people do that.
of course, the single best singer wig out i ever saw was lou from sick of it all. i saw them at this venue that USED to be in pheonix, called the nile. it was crap. anywho, SOIA is playing, and seriously, their gear cuts out five times in the first twenty minutes. they had hired a new sound guy and IT WAS HIS FIRST NIGHT. that's right. for a sick of it all show (oh, and blood for blood and most precious blood were playing, too) they had a NEW sound guy. who didn't know what he was doing. lou just starts freaking out, throwing stacks and screaming how he's gonna start killing motherfuckers if he doesnt get some sound. yeah. that was great.
-
hmm...
well, here's a short list:
faceless man - i, parasite
silence - assemblage 23

the ledge - tapping the vein
the whole of the album millenium - front line assembly

-
Eat MY delicious brains? Bah! They are their own worst enemies, as I now know all I need do is aim for the head.
-
I must be wierd. I sit there and play all sorts of shooters to Explosions in the sky....
-
Converge. American Nightmare/Give Up The Ghost. Every Time I Die.
-
Linkin Park- One Step Closer
I preferred the version from Reanimation, personally.
having said that, music has never made me feel violent. buying new shoes, on the other hand, does.
-
Rammstein did a version of a Linkin Park song? Eh? Rammstein have never covered anything as far as I'm aware. Sure you're not confusing them with another German band or just confusing two different songs?
-
"Reanimation", not "Rammstein".
-
Ah, sorry, tiredness.
Are they that christian group that covers nu-metal songs but changes the lyrics?
-
Terror - Nothing To Me
Path of No Return - Forever Gone
Converge - Homewrecker/The Broken Vow/Bitter and Then Some
Nasum - We Curse You All/The Everlasting Shame
Slayer - Disciple (OH MY GOD! I PICKED A SONG OFF A NEW ALBUM!)
Shai Hulud - Being Exemplary
Dillinger Escape Plan - Sugar Coated Sour
Lamb of God - Ruin/As the Palaces Burn/11th Hour/Bootscraper/Now You've Got Something To Die For
Most Precious Blood - Growing Square Eyes
Unearth - Black Hearts Now Reign
Darkest Hour - No Closer Than A Stranger
Killswitch Engage - Numbered Days
Poison the Well - Crystal Lake
The Power and the Glory - God and Gold
Bleeding Through - Number Seven With A Bullet
Totalt Jävla Mörker - Under Sions Kalla Stjärna/I Jakten På Profit/Rasist i Uniform
Nice and pissed mix, I'd say.
-
The Exploited, Crass, Minor Threat, Big Black, The Business, all great choice to kill maim and dystroy.
-
The Exploited, Crass, Minor Threat, Big Black, The Business, all great choice to kill maim and dystroy.
I dunno about Crass man. Peace-punk? I guess it's good if you like irony in your beatings.
-
You couldn't fight to The Feeding Of The 5000. Much too bouncy and fun.
