-
bittorrent in yo area, causing mass hysteria.
-
DC++...because it gives me so much goodness. Mostly use the following huds (give by address)
swedenmetal.no-ip.org:444
acab.afraid.org:4111
HPN3.no-ip.org:23
Winterland.no-ip.com
vomitcum.basement.no-ip.org:6005
thegud.no-ip.org
gotham.servemp3.com
metalblack.no-ip.info
Passive only, sorry people, blame the uni network.
Currently sorting all my files out again, so it's a little bit of a mess.
-
Soulseek. It's the best by far.
-
DC++ and Soulseek
-
BitTorrent is the greatest filesharing thing EVER, aside from the massive amount of bandwidth it uses.
-
Soulseek, snow_delay if anyone feels the need to grab owt off me, I've got a fair amount of hardcore and some other stuff too.
-
Soulseek.
Flatland_Spider.
My router takes issue with it, so I go up and down.
-
BT and soulseek.
-
Soulseek and Limewire
same user name on both Rivetpunk
-
BT and DC++. All the others come packaged with too much "useful consumer tools" (aka: spyware). I used to frequent suprnova.org until it shut down, I find torrentreactor.net to be a decent replacement............not that I fileshare or anything cause its naughty and illegal.....*cough*.
-
You're only sharing Linux ISO's. *wink wink* *nudge nudge*
-
BT and Aquisition (course, it needs to be updated for Tiger)
-
Limewire here.
-
DC++
Mainly on:
metal-gods.dyndns.org
vomitcum.no-ip.org:421
gothiccastle.no-ip.org
metalscifi.no-ip.org
tainted.bounceme.net
pagan.no-ip.info

DC++ is also awesome, but I only use one hub and it's kinda mega-uber-secret-private-death. So yeah. I should probobly spend some time looking for some other good hubs. One day, one day.
-
Someone should make a QC Soulseek room.
-
who cares about soulseeek? DC++ hjas two plusses in its name. That's like awesome but added twice,
FOR ECXTRA AWESOME.
ooooooh yeaaaaaaah
-
Definitely Soulseek. I have yet to not find anything I have ever wanted to. The addition of searching chatrooms for files was a wonderful addition that massively cut down on time.
My only problem with Soulseek is the occasional server reliability issues.
-
limewire and various mp3 site (like epitonic and largeheartedboy). i'm thinking of looking into soulseek though. i have heard good things.
-
Limewire for mp3s, BT for other...less permissable things. *cough*
-
DC++ sounds like such a good idea, but I never, ever get what I want. BT on the other hadn, is the don, I just feck off to work for the day a nd leave it running. Job done. Porblem with anything obsucre though. Hopefully latest Azereus will sort that.
-
bittorrent via azerus using isohunt
i used to have kazaa lite k++ 2.6 1e but BT is far superior.
I mean, even if you're only into like rare concert rips and stuff, BT is the way to go.
-
Schmung...are you using the right hubs for DC++? I have no probably finding the unoffical bootlegs I want, let alone offical stuff.
-
Soulseek all da way, homie.
Name of daviesmatt.
But DC++ looks interesting
-
Schmung...are you using the right hubs for DC++? I have no probably finding the unoffical bootlegs I want, let alone offical stuff.
Probably not. Well, I could only get onto certain ones when I last tried and even when I did the transfer rates were mostly pretty shitty, even after messing around with my firewall settings and everything. It's just not something thats ever worked for me, despite me trying it a few times.
-
Someone should make a QC Soulseek room.
Done and Done.
QC Forum Crew Room is open for business.
-
Bittorrent via azaereus(sp?) and a copy of Kazaa lite from back before it vanished and was replaced with a spyware ridden trash heap.
-
You know, I am really computer savvy most of the time, but i have NEVER figured out BT. How exactly does it work?
-
http://www.bittorrent.com/introduction.html
Also, magic.
Anyone know any good hubs for Electronica / Hip-Hop?
-
No, I mean how do I get it to physically work? I've downloaded it and then gone to sites and just . .. huh?
-
You download a torrent file, load it up, and wait.
-
Okay, trying again . . .
Say I go to a site I can search for an artist on, right? I search for an artist. Nothing comes up. I try another site, no search.
Can someone just post a good site to look at and tell me what the hell to do? I can't find a file to even download.
-
Try searching http://www.isohunt.com/. Most of the really good sites require you to be invited and crap, but I'd get used to using Bittorrent before you try and get in to them, or you might well end up screwing something up and get banned. Download the torrent, put it into your client, voila.
-
Ha ha! Thanks Dan. I am not quite as stupid as I thought. :)
-
Limewire mainly.
-
check out Phex. (clicky here for it) runs on the gnutella network (like bearshare and limewire) but without their adware. its also open source, many more features, faster dls, searchs... the firefox of p2p.
-
It was Soulseek (Bebopy..i think), but our university has blocked all peer to peer networks of any kind. As well as voice applications. God dammit.
-
I run BT with the BitLord client and DC++ through the swedish "ancient"-hub.
-
Ares .......... not that i download often, i just buy cd's or get mates to burn me stuff
-
soulseek. it can be slow but you don't get any crap (aka spyware and viruses and all that stuff) with it, and there are lots of people on it with lots of stuff, i can usually find what i'm looking for. i am 440-eh if you care to add me, i have lots of stuff and willing to share.
i like buying cds too... usually if i DL an album and i like it, i will buy it.
-
doesn't anyone uses e-mule? i do...
-
Soulseek + Limewire. Mostly Limewire, since Soulseek users are cranky.
