Alright, this is a little too creepy.  Look at this picture of the Decemberest's frontman, Colin Meloy.

and the singer/guitarist for the Futureheads, Ross Millard(far right)

Exactly the same.  Coincedence? I think not.

Ehh . . . They're both dark haired and they've both got the same hair-style and style of glasses that every other indie-rocker/indie-kid is sporting these days.  Other than that there's not much to it.

Give them tight sweaters, shrink the glasses a bit, and they'd be emo kids. They both look silly, albeit similarly so. Worst case scenario, they're twins seperated at birth, like Luke and Leia, but if they kissed like Luke and Leia, all homophobes would stop listening to their music.

Meh. Rick Johnson (from Mustard Plug, Wack Trucks and the Rick Johnson Rock andRoll Machine) looks pretty much like those guys. Hell, if I gained weight I could look like those guys, too. They just fit a certain part, that's all.

Indie fashion like that can blow me, if you can even call it fashion at this point.  It's like the same shit Weezer was wearing on the cover of the blue album, has it ever even evolved?

Indy music however... me likey. (For the most part.)

Anyway dude, you don't have to reassert how much of a metalhead you are by ripping on indy music.  I don't talk randomly trash about how inane people look with corpsepaint on... oops, I just did. ;)

Must not...make allusion between...blandless and boring nature of The Decemberists music...and...nature of the band's personality.

As you can see, not a big fan of the Decemberists, but a big fan of The Futureheads.

Personally, I prefer the poetic hipster style, you get to wear funny hats AND wear turtle-necks/khaki's ALL THE TIME. Teh coolness!

Plus, you get to grow a goatie or other forms of messy facial hair! ;D
