-
See Khar's list for me pretty much. Maybe minus one or two. Again, look at the range the Metalheads bring.
-
Ack, I forgot Iceland!
Sorry Falkenbach!
-
What bands do you listen to from New Zealand?
I'm having trouble finding good ones myself... Maybe people from OTHER countries could recommend me some...
-
Umm, you might like Lothlorien. They're a Celtic (as in, just celtic) band who as far as I remember are from NZ.
Other stuff it just wouldn't really be worth mentioning.
@Pete: Canada has a pretty nice scene. I am a big fan of 3 Inches of Blood, seen 'em live and boy are they awesome.
-
USA
Canada
Iceland
Australia
Canada
Yep, 's a pretty short list.
-
I would say that about 30-40% of all music I listen to comes from somewhere in Scandanavia. I'm trying to figure out when exactly that happened. Something to do with downtempo/deep house, I'm sure...also I think people up there just have nothing better to do than make fantastic music.
Otherwise, U.S.A.
U.K.
Germany
Canada
Japan

Why don't you just go and list the countries that you DONT have music from... Might be faster...
That is seriously a pretty big list...
-
I forgot Albania.
I was thinking that for the next mix trade, I could do a mix with one song from every country. It would probably take 3 or 4 cds, but it would be worth it!
I think I'll do that.
-
@Khar: Falkenbach is the project of a guy from Düsseldorf, Germany, who tried to create music vikings would rock to, but came out with 10-minute-"songs" containing one guitar-riff, monotous singing and a really bad drumcomputer.
-
ooh.. thats a good idea! i request that my person be jeremy in the next one. Thats totally cheating but I dont care!

uhh, right.
Not sure about the location, but the rest of your post is wrong.
-
Actually, most website's carry wildly different locations for Falkenbach. All the songs are in Icelandic so that's the hypothesis I chose to believe.
Sorry Shiva, then, to end any controversy.
-
I own his second album, all songs are in english and the contact adress is in Düsseldorf, I think (don´t have it here, I´ll look it up friday). Also I read some interviews with him where he says he´s from Germany.
-
Wierd, I have a load of songs in Icelandic. I think they might be from the Edda though, so on reflection that probably means very little.
