Warning, not for the faint of heart.

This is so old I've had a copy of Has Been for over a year. BEST COVER EVER.

I love that cover! And the album that it's off of is actually very good too. You can't go far wrong with an album that has Joe Jackson AND Henry Rollins on it.
"You'll Have Time" and "I Can't Get Behind That" are very good too.

That's me tryin'

That song is awesome. Have any of you other shatner fans out there heard his version of "lucy in the sky"? Or better yet, leonard nemoy's "bilbo baggins" song. both are quite funny.

Haha, yeah. They're terrible. But I still like them, maybe because they're so damn bad it's funny.

Bill Shatner sings
no he doesn't.

I've heard Shatner try to sing before. It's not something I want to do again.

William Shatner doesn't sing, though. Has Been is spoken word, with other people doing the singing.

Alright here's a shocker for you all! Leonard Nymoi writes poetry:
Like a photograph you develop
Unlike a photograph you never stop
Brilliant, no? Also Leonard Nymoi and William Shatner did a song together called, I believe, 'The Legend of Bilbo Baggins'

Yeah... the video with Nimoy is really... odd.
The Shatner album "Has Been" is... well, it's a good thing that it's mostly other people singing.
-
I don't recall Shatner having anything to do with ...Bilbo Baggins
but that video was fuckin' hilarious. all 60s style crazy gogo shit.
-
Somebody even went out and made a "legends of Mordor" cartoon. AAbsolutely horrible until the part where leonard saves them all by singing his song. Then I think he floats up into the sky and he's never seen again in the rest of the cartoon, very dull until that part then it gets absolutely ridiculous. They even cartoon the music video that you all have been avidly talking about.

-
My apologies...
-
yeah, my friend sent me this song quite some time ago...
I was quite horrified, to say the least. William Shatner is more well know for just being weird than anything else...
