Title: Apparently, I'm A Reviewer Now
Post by: Johnny C on 22 Aug 2005, 10:17
According to this (http://stylusmagazine.com/feature.php?ID=1811), anyways. If you feel you need to take something up with that John Cameron asshole who knocked a single you like, well, bring it up here. If you don't read Stylus, may I suggest starting now?

Hey all, just dropped by this site and saw this.  I'm actually writing for Stylus too!  You may or may not find my record reviews floating around the place...

So now we have to deal with your popist definition of songwriting in PRINT form?

Jeez, the guys at Stylus must be really straining.

(I'm kidding, good luck with it.)

I don't like Stylus. They didn't give Under Byen A+ and said Henriette was a Björk imitator. He dissed Film og Omvendt and their two previous albums too.
Vengeance will be swift and merciless!

In other news I am joyous to be a reviewer for Geiger (http://www.geiger.dk) which is the bestest little mag there ever was.
In the last issue they began a feature on the Polish yass scene and they have some great articles on World Serpent and kraut rock.
Academics the lot of them but they are great guys :)

UPDATE: The editor started jerking around the Singles Jukebox contributors and berating me when I didn't have any ideas for weekly Stypod articles which got tougher to write as the year I graduated went on. Eventually I got sacked because my writing wasn't up to par anymore. On my birthday no less.

Although congrats nescience; it's pretty tough to dick around with CD reviewers as I understand it, so you're probably going to just have a good time reviewin'!
