So, I've been listening to my favorite ska albums, and these two stick out. Keasbey Nights is my favorite. The instrumentation on SM was more complex, but songs like Keasbey Nights, Dear Sergio, and Kristina She Don't Know I Exist really keep me loving Keasbey Nights more. Here's to Life is a DAMN fine song, though.
BOTAR's Ep, though, remains my favorite Kalnoky album, even though its just five songs.
Anyway, i was wondering what other people thought.

I say the next Streetlight Manifesto CD. With all confidence I say it'll be the perfect blend of both CDs.
-
I know, the idea of Keasbey Nights Volume 2 is awesome.
It'd be awesome if it were a perfect blend of the two.
So, out of curiosity, is BOTAR just defunct now?
Cause BOTAR > everything else.
-
That was tough... I went with Everything goes Numb... simply because there's a Baritone in Streetlight Manifesto and Catch 22 can't boast that.
I've also never heard anything by BOTAR, i've been trying to find SOMETHING by them and have completely failed. Anyone know where I can find it?
-
I suppose i could send it to you...perhaps.
-
I'm gonna go with EGN for now, and next week I'll call myself a dumbfuck and think Keasbey Nights. And repeat. They're both great albums, I just get a tad more enjoyment out of Everything Goes Numb.

The music on Keasbey nights, IMO, was much more accessible. Besides, Dear Sergio just effing rocks. I love EGN, but i just can't help but think that Keasbey Nights was better.
Edit: BOTAR > Everything EVER.
