That took so fucking long... But that was just a test for setting everything up and working out how I'm going to animate him... Wait until I have the final animation finished next week. It'll be orsm. Promise. ^__^

That's really great. Is it true 3D or are you faking it in 2D? What programs did you use?

My only critique would be to add lines to the joints where the arms meet the body.

Can't wait to see it animated.

It's faked in 2D, using Flash (if the .swf file didn't make that clear). But I'm rendering the backgrounds for the animation in 3D Studio MAX. It's all in an apartment loosely based on Marten's... In fact, if I decide to be truly daring, Marten may pop up at the very end... And I'll get to be his voice actor. Heh.

The absence of lines where the joints meet the body bothers me as well, but that's far easier said than done... Although... Hmmm... I might have an idea. We'll see.

Errr... Is his button red for you all? It's red whenever I view it now, but I swear it wasn't when I uploaded it... Flash isn't being very nice to me at the moment.

Nice! The face coming around on the head was very well done... did you use a mask or was it all by hand?

Can't wait to see the big anim next week! :D

I did it with the aid of SCIENCE! ...... Or not.

I considered using a mask, but it would have been an unnecessary hassle. It's all motion and shape tweens.
