Title: The Tegan and Sara Style Poll

So Tegan and Sara have been in the news lately: White Stripes covered them at the Keyspan Park show in New York (which may be good or bad depending on your point of view); and they're showing up in all those annoying "indie Canadian invasion" articles.

But what apparently some time between 2000 and 2004 they changed their stylist -- in a big way.  Guess you could say that they went from more of a "niche" look, to one that would probably appeal to a larger audience.

So do you prefer T&S in 2000:

In my eyes it's the 2000 look is mainstream and bland, while the 2004 one is somewhat more original.

Well I would say that they have changed from nasty to a bit odd. Personally I think the 2004 look is more pleasing to the eye..

I think the 2004 shot is something that will be made fun of in 2024, like anything from the 80s is today.

They just look more friendly in that pic than the other.

The 2000 look reminds me of girls at my Highschool. For some reason the '04 look just doesn't appeal as much, I think the could do better with something in-between.

I love the 2004 look. The 2000 look is far more fuck you, which i like too, don't get me wrong, but I love the 2004 look far more.

I really like the 2004 look better. They're more aesthetically pleasing, and I just generally like the vibe they're putting off better.
