I always thought that the Generic Band Name Generator name consisted of pluralizing things that are unique and singularizing things that are numerous.
Like The Washington Monuments and The Bill Clintons or Pant and Bike.

I've figured out a formula that seems to work really well. I take a commmon phrase

Then combine it with another phrase (often sharing a word with the first)

The result is a semi-clever, relatively unique name (nothing spectacular, but pretty darn spiffy)
