Title: Winter Mixed CD Exchange
Post by: Mnementh on 28 Nov 2005, 07:09: I think that holiday/solstice time is ripe for music exchange. Seeing as we all celebrate/don't celebrate various holidays I figured a generic "winter" theme would be the most inclusive. You can of course put whatever you damn well please on the CD, from your Bing Crosby christmas carols to Khar's animistic metal offerings.

Put your name in the hat, we'll close Wednesday and the names will be matched by Friday.

The last fortnight has been crazy with Christmas shopping and then travelling interstate for big family Christmas celebrations and now doing my usual four-days-at-the-end-of-the-month hanging out with my brother and nephew. However, toastess: I absolutely promise I will start working on the mix on Tuesday when my brother goes back to Sydney, and I'll express post it to Japan, and it will be AWESOME.

Post by: est on 02 Jan 2006, 18:39: i received not one but two discs! i have been somewhat busy what with the arrival of Heather and sorting things out so that we are comfortable here, so i haven't listened to it as yet. however, i can still say that it came in a wonderfully creative case and a winter/summer motif (to reflect that while you guys are making Winter mix cds it is Summer over here).

so thanks McTaggert, and i'll post in here once i've listened to it properly.
