maybe you guys have seen this before... there are 75 band names represented in this picture...

so here's what i got after looking for a few minutes..
1. guns n roses
2. rolling stones
3. smashing pumpkins
4. cornershop
5. spoon
6. gorillaz
7. alice in chains
8. led zeppelin
9. radiohead
10. matchbox 20
11. the eagles

and then i gave up. so what are the rest?

The guys in white are manic street preachers, look at a bigger version. Also, remember, these are all far more likely to be well known bands than obscure indie acts: that's why it's Phish not Edina's Goldfish and Guns 'n Roses and no The Flowers or The Orchids.

i got about 55 at work the other day, but i've left my list at work.  i didn't get Eminem (the candy), the Darkness (the window), Cornershop, Green Day, Lemonheads, Blue, Tatu, Boomtown Rats (i said Ratt), Counting Crows (i said the Black Crows), The Butthole Surfers (i said Beach Boys), Jet (i said the B52s).

hopefully once we combine our answers we'll have a definitive list.

There really shouldn't be this many repeats.

If you want to add something you see to the list, and are using "Internet Explorer". Click on edit at the top of the window, then click on find(on this page), then type in what you want to add.
If someone already wrote it, the computer will show you where they did.

I'm not gonna pretend that I figured them out myself, 'cos that
would just make me a fraud.

This picture appeared in The Daily Mail the other day, and according
to their sources there are 65 bands/artists to get.

I'll wait for this topic to go quiet before I do anything though.

Maybe by then you will have got them all! Yay! :)

    which would bring us to 72.  just three shy of the supposed 75 total.  not bad!

    also, i was thinking that the male & female cowboy might be "Underground Lovers". because they are cuddling up near the subway.  there's no real other reason for the subway to be there, unless someone else can come up with something better.


I think mayyybe it's Jane's Addiction? She is wearing the whole jungle gear thing, so maybe she is jane. also 311? 3 vases of roses and 11 guns.

also next to teh m&ms, i think that's styx.

the blues brothers, nothing really hints that it's them, i would take more of a guess like...the killers maybe, if they were holding guns/hiding guns in teh cases.

Well, it's just she's dressed in a leopard skin, which would suggest to me that ME TARZAN YOU JANE.

The obvious one for the subway is 'Velvet Underground', but I can't really see the Velvet. Other than that...Subway To Sally? Too obscure probably.
