I cannot wait to play FEAR and Q4 and BF2.  Mebbe I'll have something to say about FPSs again.

I did play it with my current PC, but not at 1280x960 with AA turned on.  Looking forward to the pretty stuff.  Must... run... away!

Holy shit, that will be awesome. That game does usually need some AA.

apparently the fake shadow-softening looks like ass, though, and slows the game down down unbearably.  just using normal AA works better, and doesn't slow you down as much.

So I was up till about 1:30 last night trying to get shit to work.  Seems that the nVidia RAID that comes with the nForce 4 likes to cause Windows to BSOD.  Or at least the 6.66 (wtf?) drivers do.  I'm going to try the 6.39 drivers today, and see if that works.  Tried both 32-bit and 64-bit, and both have been going thud, even during the actual installation.  Turn off RAID, and everything is happy again.  I spent this much money for what reason now?
