Is Expensive.
Does any one have any free alternatives?
The GIMP has been sugested, but i am quite inept on computers, and i didnt under stand how to use it.So if you could give me an idea or instructions on how to get the GIMP, that would be helpful.

Perhaps you could only find the Gimp in source.  Download the Gimp with the Windows installer so it would be a little easier.

You also need to download and install the GTK in order to run Gimp.

Gimp, in many ways, is better than Photoshop.

If you're already familiar with photoshop then Gimpshop, a gimp hack that makes it look and feel more like photoshop is gonna help a lot.

I got a copy of elements bundled with a major input device.  That works too.

I thought this was a thread about hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese noodle joints.

Hurray for having a dad that needs Photoshop to do what he does!  *has a legit copy of Photoshop 7 installed, with CS2 waiting for him once he returns home*

That means the stuff I make is legal if I was good enough to make things worth paying money for.  :P

the student discount are bliss, I got Final Cut Pro for only 250 quid instead of paying nearly a grand.
