Is there any easy way to tell which partition in an XP system is located on which physical drive?
I have two drives, and I am convinced that the older one is about to fail so I need to copy its contents into the other drive and remove it from the system.
(I'm swapping my old 40GB IDE for 2x200GB SATA drives if you are interested)

if you right-click on "My Computer" and choose "Manage" you'll get into the Computer Management panel. that should have Disk Management in it, which should let you see which partition is on which physical disk.

Catflea, it's a trap! Once you upgrade to that much space, you'll have to keep on upgrading. I used to survive on a similar size, now I have almost a terabyte and a half of space scattered around my house. It's almost full as well ;)

Thanks for remininding me to check how much space I've got left. 11Gb. Damn, that's just under 10% of the whole thing. I gotta go get some cds.

It'll take me a little while to fill it all with crap - I have quite a slow internet connection!
The next thing is to try and discover why one of my RAM sticks isn't working

You...you mean my 1.1TB RAID5 array will someday NOT BE ENOUGH?
I don't know what to think!
