And they do it in COMIC form! (http://community.livejournal.com/found_objects/2555300.html)

(edit: added to give some sort of legitimacy to this thread)
Which of your favorite music icons would you like to see in a comic book?! A friend of mine is doing a new Guitar Wolf comic where they fight... er, demons from outer space, and I think that will be fun. I'd really like to see something done with Sonic Youth, perhaps fighting... er, demons from outer space. Anyway, Lee Ranaldo will have the power to shatter rocks with dissonant minor-second chords that he makes with his MIND!

The Residents have been in a couple of comics. Too bad I'm too lazy to find them.

Er, none?

Danzig.
Need I say more?

TISM had a comic out donkeys ears ago. It was pretty much the best comic ever. There is no hypothetical comic starring any other musicians that could top the weird, twisted shit that comic had in it.
I actually may have found it online as well, which is pretty awesome, and another one I hadn't read to boot.

There is a book of comics inspired by Belle and Sebastian called Put the Book Back on the Shelf. I'd like to see a comic based on the Replacements.

This makes me want to dig out the Sol Invictus fan-comic I found once. It was wierd as fuck. Like Jack and the Beanstalk, only with Tony Wakeford and bad rhyming ("Fee fi fo fum, I smell apocalyptic folk musicians").
Also, this is the time, of course, to mention the greatest webcomic idea I ever saw. It involved Abbath and Horgh from Immortal questing round the world in an old Yugo trying to find the magical spiky shinpads that gave Horgh his magical drum powers so they can get the band back together. They fight nazis, and their re-union concert is so grim it ushers in a new ice age.

I remember seeing that Sol Invictus comic some where around tursa (http://www.tursa.com/).
And that Immortal webcomic idea is fucking awsome!
Abbath slaying nazis on the internet is just genius.
