Title: Question for music buffs
Post by: Vindemiatrix on 04 Mar 2006, 03:15
This is going to sound incredibly stupid, but there's a CD I'm looking for. However, I don't know the artist or the title of the album. Uh. I do know that the album cover is picture of a line of red pine trees. And that there's possibly another another album by same band in which the pine trees are green. I think the genre of the band was post-rock, but my memory is evidently not very good. I've looked up some post-rock bands in the hope of finding it, but none of the ones I've checked have it...

Can anybody help?

Just looked it up, and sadly that's not the right one...

They were a very bright red, they were in a line and looked pine trees and also a bit like flames, looked like an inked drawing or even a woodcut...

Sorry to revive an old topic, but I believe I found the solution.

Is this it?

I think they're both the same record, The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place by Explosions In The Sky.

Two points to Staralfur for having the best Sigur Ros handle.

Well, and of course you get two points for, you know, answering the guy's question correctly.
