this goes out to all the shitty tribute albums that have come out over the years. from the largely bland and insufferable Oingo Boingo tribute album to the mostly damn near unlistenable Jawbreaker tribute album (not to mention the Tony Hawk Underground soundtrack), this is a salute to all the bands who have taken their time to butcher songs by artists that they claim to admire. here's a sampling of what we might be able to expect from the future if this disgraceful tide refuses to let up.
"Tribute" to Fugazi:
01. My Chemical Romance- "Waiting Room"
02. Taking Back Sunday- "Give Me the Cure"
03. Atreyu- "Bad Mouth"
04. Thrice- "Cashout"
05. As I Lay Dying- "Suggestion"
06. Chiodos- "Bulldog Front"
07. Crossfade- "Repeater"
08. Evergreen Terrace- "Epic Problem"
09. Take the Crown- "The Kill"
10. The Fall of Troy- "Styrofoam"
11. A Static Lullaby- "Burning"
12. Greeley Estates- "Margin Walker"
13. Scary Kids Scaring Kids- "Argument"
"Tribute" to Screeching Weasel:
01. Fall Out Boy- "Cool Kids"
02. The Starting Line- "Hey, Suburbia!"
03. Halifax- "My Right"
04. Amber Pacific- "Supermarket Fantasy"
05. Rufio- "Dingbat"
06. New Found Glory- "Veronica Hates Me"
07. Bowling for Soup- "Stupid Over You"
08. Boys Night Out- "The Science of Myth"
09. Hidden in Plain View- "My Brain Hurts"
10. The Matches- "What We Hate"
11. Never Heard of It- "Kamala's Too Nice"
12. Houston Calls- "Totally"
13. Motion City Soundtrack- "Fathead"
14. Bayside- "Cindy's on Methadone"
15. Aiden- "American Suicide"
16. Less Than Jake- "Every Night"
17. Something Corporate- "Guest List"
18. The Casualties- "Slogans"
scary, eh? and the scariest part? both of these tribute albums are entirely feasible. all it takes is a record label wanting to cash in on the name of an influential band or artist, and having the connections to snag a bunch of at least fairly well-known bands. so do your part. just say no to bad tribute albums.

Barry: Top 5 songs about death. A Laura's Dad tribute list, okay? Okay. Leader of the Pack. The guy fuckin' beefs it on his motorcycle and dies, right? Dead Man's Curve. Jan & Dean.
Dick: Do you know that right after they recorded that song Jan himself crashed his car...
Barry: It was Dean you fuckin' idiot...
Rob: It was Jan. It was a long time after the song.
Barry: Okay, whatever. Tell Laura I Love Her. That would bring the house down - Laura's Mom could sing it. You know what I'd want? One Step Beyond by Madness. And, uh, You Can't Always Get What You Want.
Dick: No. Immediate disqualification because of its involvement with The Big Chill.
Barry: Oh God. You're right!
Dick: Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald - Gordon Lightfoot.
Barry: You bastard! That's so good - that should have been mine... The night Laura's daddy died. Sha na na na na na na na na! Brother what a night it really was. Mother what a night it really... angina's tough! Glory be!

I was at tower records tonight and was freaking out at the tribute albums they had. Vitamin Records keeps putting out these String Quartet tributes... to a whole lot of artists including really good ones. The thing is, they basically just make a tribute album for any artist thats put out an album. Thus, I did indeed see tribute albums to: Yellowcard, Hubastank, Nickleback, Hawthorne Heights, Jessica Simpson (huh?), Limp Bizkit, and wait for it... wait for it... OH, YOU KNOW ITS COMING... Creed.
The most ridiculous part was that on the back of each cd they had a paragraph explaining that artist's greatness and contributions that artist made to music.
The entire catalogue is online here (http://www.tmrpro.com/catalog.php) (Though the recent releases aren't up yet)
Some highlights:
Limp Bizkit-Leading the wave of rock/rap hybrids, Limp Bizkit has carved out a loyal following over the years. Relentless touring and the occasional call to ‘break stuff’ has pushed them to the top of the charts, firmly positioning Bizkit as rock royalty.
Creed-With their combination of hard-hitting rock and earthy spirituality, Creed captured the hearts, minds and souls of millions of fans across the world. Creed has made faith in a higher power cool again.
P.O.D.- With eclectic influences ranging from nu-metal to latin to hip-hop and their undeniably positive message, it’s no wonder Southern California’s P.O.D. has made fans across the globe. And they rock hard!
Jessica Simpson-She’s America’s sexy, blonde mistress of all media – Billboard chart-topper, reality TV star, magazine cover golden girl. But it’s her awesome voice that propelled Jessica Simpson to the peak of pop diva-dom. Those are gospel roots showing through that blonde mane, and they give Simpson’s vocals their power and a unique, sultry innocence. She can go good-girl sweet on a ballad, or bad-girl breathy on a dance track, turning tunes by the country’s top songwriters into “Irresistible” Jessica platinum. You’ve never experienced Jessica Simpson like this. The String Quartet Tribute kicks out the hype and cranks up the celebratory vibe of her music. When these violin and cello players launch into her party-rousing hits, grooving is no longer optional... and if they wrap their strings around a love song like “I Wanna Love You Forever”, hang on to your heart. Simpson plus Strings equals sweet, danceable pop perfection.
Ok, so this has nothing to do with the intended purpose of this thread but I thought it highly appropriate.
-
I doubt the horrible emo bands you mentioned have even really listened to Fugazi, much less cared enough about them to make a tribute album.
What would really scare me is a tribute album by My Chemical Romance to Iron Maiden. Apparently, their singer counts them as an influence, so this is actually a remote, yet absolutely terrifying possibility.
And Coheed and Cambria covering any decent bands from the 4 or 5 genres that they manage to butcher.
-
<Jcknbl's post>
haha, i love those. they also have a lot of bluegrass tributes to rather non-bluegrass artists.
my absolute favorite, though, is this one: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product_listing.gsp?cat=79405&path=0%3A4104%3A4118%3A5090
it's a tribute to Blink 182 done by a band called THE UNITED STATES OF PUNK! AMAZING!
Storm Rider: yeah, i doubt they have, too, i just went on myspace music and searched for the most popular bands that have "post-hardcore" listed as one of their genres.
-
How about String Quartet tributes to horrible nu-metal bands like KoRn and Mudvayne?
OH WAIT THEY HAVE ALREADY BEEN MADE!
-
How about a tribute to System of a Down done entirely by Avril Lavigne?
Ow, my brain hurts from thinking about that.
-
How about a tribute to System of a Down done entirely by Avril Lavigne?
Ow, my brain hurts from thinking about that.
even worse, her doing a tribute to Dillinger Four.
she's apparently a huge fan of theirs. she even has a Dillinger Four tattoo.
-
William Shatner sings Elliott Smith.
-
It might be worth it if Shatner followed suit and committed suicide after releasing the album.
Too soon?
-
"Tribute" to Fugazi:
01. My Chemical Romance- "Waiting Room"
This is a disturbing image.
-
Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, Fall Out Boy, Avril Lavigne and "friends" sing Riding with the King by B.B King and Eric Clapton.
-
Puff Daddy - Kashmir
That is all.
-
Puff Daddy - Kashmir
That is all.
But he did cover Kas....oh....ohohoh, I get it. You saucy devil.
"I wanna fight you, I fucking bite you". Man...I forgot how great that one was.
-
A 'tribute' to Edge of Sanity (release later this year):
1: The Black Dahlia Murder - Blood Coloured
2: Trivium - Elegy
3: In Flames - The Sinner and the Sadness
4: Bleeding Through - Hell Is Where the Heart Is
5: Children of Bodom - Disrupting the Inhabitants
6: Bullet For My Valentine - Sacrificed
7: Soilwork - Twilight
...no, actually, it's too painful to continue.
-
Khar, thats just sick man.
Now Bullet For My Valentine are raping Sacrificed in my head.
MAKE IT STOP!!
-
Celine Dion sings Johnny Cash.
-
Kyuus being covered by 10 different nu-metal artists. Not feasible, but scary as fuck. The songs would be scarred for life.
Celine Dion sings Johnny Cash.
I dread the day.

A Blink 182 tribute to My Bloody Valentine's Loveless. That would suck major donkey cock.

Avril Lavigne's tribute to Glenn Branca!

I'm Slim Shady. The real Slim Shady. All you other Slim Shadies. Are just imitating.
Except, that cover is genius.
-
I'd rather Belle and Sebastian coverred the entire thin lizzy back catalog than here that awful metallica cover again...
Read the small text.
-
I'm pretty sure Oberst had a Christmas album and totally covered Silent Night.
-
I hate to break it to you, but...
I've had the misfortune of hearing it, not to mention they made a video where the band had a TOTALLY RAD house partay with liquor and breaking stuff and GIRLS MAKING OUT WOO!1
-
What's so bad about Metallicas cover of Whiskey in a Jar? It's not as good as the original, or a good cover in the sense of trying to do something new with the song, but it's not like it's grade-a rape or anything. It's better than pretty much everything metallica have written themselves for at least a decade. That video sounds pretty retarded though.
Also, Whiskey in the Jar is a folk song, so Metallica didn't really cover it from Thin Lizzy, except for using the same version of the words that they did.
-
Heh. I think I have another guilty pleasure: I actually kinda liked their "Whisky in the Jar" when it came out.
-
It's not that bad, but somebody mentioned Metallica covering Thin Lizzy, which I remembered had been already done.
And tell me that the Edge of Sanity tribute isn't real. Please.
-
The party in the video for "Whiskey in the Jar" is pretty rad, but I don't see how it has anything to do with the song. Of course, I'll kind of forgive it, because it didn't suck so hard as a number of songs on that album, plus it's not really a Thin Lizzy song. It's just that Thin Lizzy did that version of it.
I was at tower records tonight and was freaking out at the tribute albums they had. Vitamin Records keeps putting out these String Quartet tributes... to a whole lot of artists including really good ones. The thing is, they basically just make a tribute album for any artist thats put out an album. Creed.
After reading this, I got up to go to the bathroom, then it just hit me. The full import of how awful that idea is added to the fact that IT ACTUALLY EXISTS! I started wimpering, and praying for the souls of the musicians on those albums. Though, I'd do one of those albums in a second. I bet they made pretty good money.
-
Kyuus being covered by 10 different nu-metal artists. Not feasible, but scary as fuck. The songs would be scarred for life.
There is a tribute album to Kyuss out, in fact. It's called "Listen Without Distraction" and it's all done by South American stoner-rock bands. I have the cover of "Asteroid," which is by a band called Poseidotica that I rather enjoy, and the cover's pretty well done.
-
James Blunt: a tribute to Bob Dylan.
:)
-
I hate to break it to you, but...

I've had the misfortune of hearing it, not to mention they made a video where the band had a TOTALLY RAD house partay with liquor and breaking stuff and GIRLS MAKING OUT WOO!1
Urgh, their version of Loverman is complete sacrilege.
Oddly enough, Nick Cave's is heavier, somehow.
-
I'm pretty sure Oberst had a Christmas album and totally covered Silent Night.
And all your other Christmas favorites. "Away in a Manger", "Blue Christmas", you name it.
Now, imagine Canadian pop-punk acts Simple Plan, Sum 41 et al paying tribute to Eazy-E. There's a winning combination.
-
Saddle Creek Does the Beatles.
I can tell you for a fact that a lot of people on this forum are going to get boners at this idea.
*PING*
-
Coldplay - A Rush Of Punk To The Head
1. God Save The Queen
2. White Riot
etc...
-
That's pretty horrible. It also spawned the idea of bvarious punk bands doing a tribute to Rush.
-
Oh god. The thought of Green Day trying to play 2112 makes me shiver on the inside.
Hell, even if it were legitimate punk, they couldn't pull it off.
-
The Buzzcocks playing YYZ? Minor Threat doing a nice rendition of La Villa Strangiato? Black Flag's Tom Sawyer? Or the best of them all, Screeching Weasel playing Fly By Night.
-
James Blunt plays Serge Gainsbourg.
(gags)
Sleazy bad+sleazy bad = musical equivalent of Ebola. No, Syphilis. Ewgh.
-
Oh god. The thought of Green Day trying to play 2112 makes me shiver on the inside.
The scary thing is that you can't really rule that out nowadays.
-
Coldplay - "Megalomaniac"(KMFDM, not Incubus)
Streetlight Manifesto - "Figure Number Five"
Devil Driver - "My December"(this may actually be better...)
Eminem - "ice Ice baby" (for white-boy ridiculousness)
Soul Coughing - "Bring Tha Pain"
Cake - "Tanzt Mit Mir"
System of a Down - "The 1812 Overture"
Marilyn Manson - "Drunken Lullabies"(again, might actually be good. All signs point to "no," however)
And finally...
Mogwai - Back to Mad
-
Serge Gainsbourg.
Everything you need to know about Serge Gainsbourg is revealed about half way through this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMAHstZ565w&search=serge%20gainsbourg).
-
*shudders* Yeah, I've seen that.
I rest my case, messieurs-dames.

a rap/hip hop tribute to Mario, Luigi, and the Mushroom Kingdom called "Super Mario Brothers Gonna Work It Out".
OH WAIT THIS IS NOT THE BEST TRIBUTE IDEA EVER THREAD.
-
Eminem remixing Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon as a tribute.
I think a little bit of me just died for mentioning even the thought.
-
Drive-Thru Records doing a tribute to Bob Dylan.
....oh wait. FUCK.
Every time I see that cd at my work I want to break it.
-
oh, jeez, yeah. that thing is awful.
of course, the only song i heard was the RxBandits one. and it was terrible. and keeping in mind that they're the only Drive-Thru Records band that i like, the rest of the CD must only be good for inducing vomiting.

Sadly, it wouldn't be much worse than Rob Zombie's tribute.
-

I think my avatar sums up everything I could say about this.
As for the worst tribute album ever: Dolly Parton Presents: Krieg Snowfields of the Nordic Wastelands.

Well, the problem there is that most Ramones songs have maybe three lines worth of lyrics, and doom metal songs can be anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes. But I'd still buy it anyway, because again, it wouldn't be any worse than Zombie's tribute.
-
yeah but the amount of lyrics in a 20 minute doom song are about the same as a 2 minute ramones song
-
06. New Found Glory- "Veronica Hates Me"
I.
Will.
Fucking.
Destroy.
You.
Just for making me think about that. Also I am kinda sad that you put The Fall Of Troy on a tribute to Fugazi and thought it would be a bad thing. It would only be a bad thng if.. yknow... he still tried to sing.
A Tribute To Mr. Bungle

Now I'm going to vomit forever.
And then I'm gonna do the exact same tracklist but with the bands that should be doing those songs.
[edit] almost forgot the coup de grace, 14.
-
^^ Mudvayne - Stubb (A Dubb)
-
Actually that was my first idea for Mudvayne, and then I thought I didn't have enough Disco Volante.
Here is the right bands doing the same songs in the same order.
(1) Primus {OR} C.C.B.of.B.B. - Quote Unquote (Travolta)
(2) Kaada - The Air-Conditioned Nightmare
(3) Behold... The Arctopus - Phlegmatics
(4) Sleepytime Gorilla Museum - My Ass Is On Fire
(5) Mephiskapheles - Carousel
(6) The Residents - Backstrockin'
(7) Tin Hat Trio (with Carla Kihlstdt singing) - Goodbye Sober Day
(8) Nekromantix - None Of Them Knew They Were Robots

Is Mike Patton allowed to cover his own songs?
-
Actually that was my first idea for Mudvayne, and then I thought I didn't have enough Disco Volante.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Nekromantix would make that song work. Their versions of Dead Bodies, Light My Fire, Mama Won't Allow, and Bela Lugosi's Dead are great.
-
that's why he said the right bands doing those songs.
-
that's why he said the right bands doing those songs.
Yeah, I know. I'm not so sure about the other choices though, hence noting that I think Nekromantix would actually work.

I would totally buy this tribute just for the Tomahawk version of Love Is A Fist.
-
That tribute idea is pretty cool, but it loses for not exploiting the opportunity to have Crotchduster cover a Mr. Bungle song. Because, even though I'm lukewarm on the Bungle, that would slay. A parody of a fucking circus metal band. Fuck me, something would implode, I'm sure.
Probably Kai's head.
Also, Nekromantix covered Bela Lugosi's Dead? WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED!?
-
Wait, they did? I'm off to pirate some shiz.
and yeah, my head would explode like crazy. Although they'd have to add in some lyrics about licking assholes or something to make it real.

Joe Satriani tribute albums by - well, anyone but Satriani. Those just wouldn't fly.
D.O.A. Tribute Album

6. The Transplants - Last Night (because they'd whine it up)
7. My Chemical Romance - New Age
8. Franz Ferdinand - New Wave Sucks/Disco Sucks
9. Alice Cooper - Fucked Up Baby/Fucked Up Ronnie/Fucked Up Bush
10. Trivium - The Prisoner
-
I'm not going to do any tracklists, because I can't be bothered thinking of bands I dislike, but how about:
The pop-punk tribute to New Model Army (For maximum ghastliness, Blink-182 would reform just to cover 'Vengeance', which would be right next to Good Charlotte's upbeat take on 'Drag it Down')
Or perhaps even worse, the pop-punk tribute to The Anti-Nowhere League, with all the swearing completely censored down to things like 'damn' in order to tap the 12 year old market.
Also:
The Ska tribute to KoRn
The String Quartet tribute to Apocalyptica
The Dub tribute to Coldplay (probably prescribable to insomniacs)
The current British indie scene's tribute to itself (mistaken by many as the new Franz Ferdinand album)
The Dutch Goregrind tribute to the Spice Girls (no, wait, sorry, move that one onto the AWESOME pile)
The jug-band tribute to Bauhaus
-
bluegrass tribute to "Coheed and Cambria"

The Ska tribute to KoRn
i think that would be more of an affront to ska than to Korn.
-
It would be an affront to most everything.
-
Daft Punk do Kraftwerk
Yeah dude, what are you thinking? That would be awesome.
They could call it Daft Perk!
-
Daft Punk do Kraftwerk

bluegrass tribute to "Coheed and Cambria"
Dude, a bluegrass tribute to Coheed and Cambria is like "Prostate Cancer's tribute to AIDS".

4. the blood brothers - miranda that ghost just isn't holy anymore

7. tori amos - casandra gemini
8. alkaline trio - frances the mute
9. lamb of god - a plague upon your hissing
10. death cab for cutie - concertina
-
Actually, I'm not sure Blood Brothers and Melt Banana couldn't handle that, from what I know of them. I mean, there's surely WORSE choices.
-
sure, they could do it, but the mars volta are much more laid back than those two bands. have you ever heard melt banana's cover of "we will rock you"? 'nuff said.

A Blink 182 tribute to My Bloody Valentine's Loveless.
You sick, sick bastard!
Any pseudo-punk band covering popular later 90's radio hits. Oh wait...
God, I hate those 'punk goes pop', 'punk goes acoustic', etc album. I wish all the bands that participated in those would slit their respective throats.

Eminem (feat. Lil' Jon) - Funkytown

I'd just be really interested to see Hilary Duff cover At the Drive-in - Invalid Letter Dept. I'm sure if she tried her head would explode.. it's a win-win situation. But then again if I saw it on TV i would probably punch myself into unconciousness. Hilary Duff singing relevant, scary, and painful lyrics. What would the world be coming to?

I think the world would end, however she would have to cover something other than At the Drive-in.
-
I jsut had this idea of her trying to sing Cattle Decapitation songs. That would be pretty amazing.
"Home laboratory turned mortuary
Experimental transplants and surgery
Using bleach and corrosives to make zombies
Gaping cranium sutured with epoxy
Homemade walking dead!"
Yeah.
-
Sigur Ros covering Tool. You'd die of old age before track four starts

Actually, I think Mastodon could probably do a decent cover of Orion. And if it were Machine Head back when they were actually GOOD, then they could certainly do Battery.
I'm going to assume this is an actual tribute, and that it was the bad Machine Head.
-

*meaning the soulless shell of Weezer that has been parodying its former self since around 1999.
-
Are Anti-Flag uncool pop-punk now?
That's kinda sad. Then, I haven't heard any of their recent stuff.

Don't Give Up Yet: An All Star Tribute to The Postal Service's Give Up
1. The District Sleeps Alone Tonight by My Chemical Romance
I SUCK at this game. I tried to keep coming up with stuff that would suit the album and sound bad, but try as I might my mental version of Brian Wilson's "Sleeping In" rendition is TOO AWESOME.

This is the best tribute album ever and you know it.
-
Ooh, I've got it:
An A Capella Tribute to Godspeed You! Black Emperor.
Which could actually be quite good if done right.
Or hilarious if done right.
-
But man, those people would be deaf from having to hold a single note for a good 40 minutes.
-
any tribute to the smiths (save for 'at the drive-in - this night has opened my eyes' and 'xiu xiu - asleep') is a bad idea in my eyes.
01. deftones - please let me get what i want
02. pale sunday - i know it's over
03. placebo - bigmouth strikes again
04. supergrass - some girls are bigger than others
05. i'm tired of listing bad smiths covers
06. they've all been done
07. please stop doing them
08. this is a plea to all musicians
09. thank you.
-
however, i find the worst 'tribute' albums to be unintentional, whereupon bands don't even know they are shitty cover bands.
par example, interpol as joy division.
I love you. Very, very much. Glad to see you back, by the way.
My friend said the same thing about interpor when they first came out and it made me giggle. I still kinda like their first album though. Good for relaxing.
-
Just as an aside, has there EVER been a decent multi-artist Black Sabbath tribute? I mean, Rondellus one is sweet, and Hand of Doom is kinda cool in a LOL THE SONGS R SUNG BY A GIRL way, but all the multi-artist tributes (Hell Rules, Nativity in Black 1-3 etc.) are generally fucking lame. And it's not like I haven't got some great Sabbath covers by groups like Orange Goblin and Candlemass lying around...There are about four or five good songs on the whole NIB series (generally by artists who you could actually imagine doing justice to a Black Sabbath song, ie. Danzig, Type O Negative, and kinda surprisingly White Zombie) and that's it. I mean, seriously, System of a Down and NoFx. Covering Sabbath. WHAT?
-
Have you heard the Cardigans' version of Sabbath Bloddy Sabbath? I honestly can't tell if it's horrible blasphemy or the greatest thing ever
-
Yeah, I have. Apparently the Cardigans are all big hard rock fans. I find that pretty damn odd.
-
My contribution to the actual topic: A death metal tribute to Shonen Knife, featuring:
Cannibal Corpse - I am a Cat
Lamb of God - Buttercup (I'm a Super Girl)
Acid Bath - Cycling is Fun
And more! (I can't think of any more bands that would fit the mould of Death Metal, but you get the idea.)
-
Yeah, I have. Apparently the Cardigans are all big hard rock fans. I find that pretty damn odd.
Well, Necro and Ill Bill are white rappers who are awesome pianists and listen to goregrind :???:
-
And Kevin Shields is apparently a big Puffy Ami Yumi fan.
-
and the Puffy Ami Yumi girls are apparently pretty big Aquabats fans. i wonder how long we can keep this chain going.
-
I think the Aquabats have a thing for Gwar?
EDIT:

Too bad neither Lamb of God and Acid Bath are death metal.

I will take your word for it, and offer my apologies. I won't even pretend to be able to understand the myriad seemingly-identical subgenres of metal.
-
U WOULD UNDERSTAND IF YOU WERE KRIEG, OLOLOL
And enough of that.

And that Cannibal Corpse is one of the worst death metal bands ever.
The prime mitigating factor, of course, is that Acid Bath is super-awesome-great.
-
Just as an aside, has there EVER been a decent multi-artist Black Sabbath tribute?
Have you ever heard Hell Rules (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00000IMZF/102-4893712-6616150?v=glance&n=5174) or Hell Rules Vol. 2 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004NRWB/102-4893712-6616150?v=glance&n=5174)? I have Vol. 2 (I know one of the guys on it, and felt obligated to pick it up, even though he hated the band that hired him for the CD), and it's pretty good. Evoken's version of "Snowblind" is excellent.
-
Tribute to MF Doom!
1. King Geedorah - Doomsday
2. Viktor Vaughn - Hoe Cakes
3. Dangerdoom - Dead Bent
4. Madvillain - Rhymes Like Dimes
5. Zev Luv X - Fastlane
6. King Ghidra - Money Folder
-
I got one!
A Tribute To Creed - Pearl Jam With Arms Wide Open
Although, it would be fun if Pearl Jam decided to take Creed's greatest hits and turn them into actual good songs as a 'fuck you'.
-
I fucking adore that record. My favourite album ever. I can't wait for the new album this year.
fixed.
In what sense is that fixed, when it's now incorrect, what with Weezer's debut being my favourite album ever?

BECAUSE YOUR ORIGINAL OPINION WAS WRONG AND HE FIXED IT SO IT WAS CORRECT
