Post by: Alegis on 01 May 2006, 08:27

Expectations? Games/Hardware info you're very eager to hear and will follow news sites/video streams ?

Not really been that much into E3, but since I'm looking for new stuff after my MMO addiction been meaning to follow as much of it as possible on sites like 1up (http://e3.1up.com/).

Stuff I wish to see :

Miyamoto, in an interview earlier this year said that Twilight Princess was coming out on the gamecube. Period. The exact quote was "We made a promise to our fans(that it would come out on Gamecube), and it's one we're going to keep."

Twilight Princess

Don't you mean Twiilight princess? Even though it's not coming out on the Wii I couldn't let that up. I personally can't wait for Twilight Princess as well. I also would like to know if anyone did any more w/ SC: Ghost.

I've read multiple things saying that even though it's coming out on the GC it'll have "enhanced content" on the Revolution.  Whether that will be executed on the same disc, with an alternate disc in the same package or through the purchase of a Revolution-only version I do not know for sure, but the things I've been reading seem to inexplicably point to the first option.

Neat trick if they can pull it off.

I'm not opposed to that. I would eventually buy a revoloution(fuck that Wii nonsense.) anyway. Because inevitably a new leveld of Zelda would appear on it, and I would be all "ZOMGMUSTPLAYHAUGHAUHG"

FFXII: The last one we promise?

FFXII: 18 more before we have to skip one.

Still, I am looking forward to FFXII, Spore, LoZ:TP, and Revolution.

I also want to see some love for the handheld systems. The DS has better games right now, but they're both still pretty weak. More games/features/content would make me a happy gamer.

[edit: GAH! Cant count. Nice save SW]

They did it for Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Seasons. It was a Game Boy Color game that happened to come out around the same time as the GBA, so they put additional content in it that could only be accessed via the Advance.

It wasn't much, but it was kinda cool.

Implied subtext, Nihilist.

It's a gaudy, self-serving monstrosity that only confirms how bloated and stupid the game business is.  Fuck it all, (http://209.120.136.195/scratch.php) play old (http://www.the-underdogs.info), classic, (http://www.ea.com/official/cc/firstdecade/us/index.jsp), indie (http://www.igf.com), innovative (http://introversion.co.uk/defcon/index.html) games (http://www.gametunnel.com) by people who really love them. I was considering writing about WHY I feel the way I do, but my brain took a serious beating this weekend, and stringing words together isn't something that comes easily.
