The myspace page is a fan page, as Piazzolla has been dead for some time now (little over 10 years). However, his music is quite worth a listen. A random find I burned from the library CD collection about 4 years back that I'm only now starting to appreciate. There's a song called Riverado that if you can find online, I highly recommend.

A friend recently hooked me up with Tango: Zero Hour. It's great stuff. I'm sure he'd have moe to say about it than I if he weren't totally absorbed in Elder Scrolls Oblivion right now.

HELL. YES. Hell yes, hell yes, hell yes. I do love the Piazzolla; "Adios Nonino" has to be a good start for anybody wanting to listen to more of his stuff.
There was a documentary on his life on TV over here a while back (I think on BBC4 or Artsworld....one of the artier digital channels, either which way); about his classical studies, his sometimes turbulent relationship with his dad and then with his son...quite a character. This is a good site (http://www.piazzolla.org/) to find out more about him.
