Title: A helping hand(If'n you'd all be so kind)...
Post by: dancarter on 28 Jun 2006, 08:58
Currently, as there's a break from school for a few months, a friend of mine and I have decided to put together a vocal-less industrial/electronic project.  Tracks are progressing fine as far as we can tell and so we've hit a point where we kind of wanted to get to doing art.  I've come up with a cover image we are both pretty happy with, but have come to sort of a road block as far as logos, type, and even a band name for that matter.  All we're 100% certain of is the cd title (Birth Caul).

So I guess what I'm asking is if there are any suggestions as far as that sort of thing goes, if you'd be kind enough to look at the image and just throw ideas at me if you've the time.  Thanks.

The image can be found here:

I wouldn't put too much stuff into the pic. just the title and band name. iam not sure about the font to use, but it should be put on the black side of the pic and have the same colour/pattern/stuff as the right side. Perhaps you can make its edges fade out like at the border between the dark and coloured side, so it gets a more organic feel like the rest of the pic.
I hope you get my meaning.
