What shows do you watch that are kind of "guilty pleasure" shows...I don't have TV in my apartment (my choice) but sometimes when I go to visit my parents, I'll watch any episodes of Fairly Oddparents that i can find...
Just don't tell any of my metal/hardcore friends...I'll lose my tough-guy points.
-
kim possible all the way
I can't wait till the new season, at least I think there will be one
-
i'm not even going to lie to you when i say arthur on pbs. that show is the shit.
-
<Gigantic anime/manga fan.
-
I am ashamed to admit that I greatly enjoy Gray's Anatomy. I don't know what it is, I just like medical shows.
-
I don't feel guilty about any of the things I like
-
I went on a dragon tales binge last winter. Needless to say, It was messy.
I am however doing fine now. the medication helps to supress those cheery dragons and their goddamned songs.
-
Star Trek: Voyager.
....it's like...I...I know. I know it sucks. But..but...I...no! Don't look at me like that! I can't help it if I like hearing about the Borg and transwarp and the Doctor who's a hologram! And Tuvok is cool! He is!
-
I'm not sure if its on any more, but about 2 years ago I used to watch that "Little Bear" cartoon. That bear had the life. All he ever did was go fishing and walk around in the woods, and he was friends with a talking cat. Compared to that, my life is pretty terrible.
-
Eight Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter.
I am not proud of this and I got all teary eyed at the episode when the father died.
My excuse is that I have a 14 year old sister and she forces me to watch it. Yeah.
-
Yay for Fairly Odd Parents :D
-
^ Hear, hear! :P
And I like watching....er....Neighbours
In todays episode Cam (who is actually Robert, with Cam being his twin brother in a coma after a car accident, and afterwards swapping identities) planted a bomb in his sister's car but she got out in time, and everyone has realised that the normally nice Cam is actually evil. (they believe robert is out of the country). 'Cam' doesn't realise that the plan didn't work but visits the hospital where Cam is, planning to kill him too. When he arrives Cam (who has just woken up) hits Robert on the head and swaps clothes, then when he gets back to the house the family doesn't believe his story and they call the police! Innocent Cam will be going to jail! OH NOES!

Woah...Steyr_Junkie, you're like only an hour away from where I hail from! Yay for QC neighbors!!
-
Spongebob Squarepants!
Funniest show ever.
-
It's not a "guilty pleasure" but I will watch any episode of Modern Marvels on TLC that I can find...I seriously watched a documentary on glue once...
what? it was fascinating...really!
-
I'm don't feel guilty about anything that I enjoy, so..
Spongebob Squarepants-Has some of the best comedic writing I have ever heard of throughout my life.
Disney Movies-Particularly Mulan I and II and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. These movies have some seriously good music.
-
Put me down for Spongebob Squarepants too. That show is pure comedic genius.
-
Here's another Fairly Odd Parents guy.
And it's even worse for me, 'cause they dubbed it in dutch.
-
Two for Kim Possible, with the occasional Scifi original movie thrown in when I'm bored.
-
My friend introduced me to Desperate Housewives, so i'm guilty of watching that
-
Spongebob Squarepants is to me as Coldplay is to tommidski.
If you like Spongebob Squarepants, I want to commit unspeakable evil upon you.
-
Man, it is good to hear that there are others who can't stand it.
<Gigantic anime/manga fan.
There's nothing wrong with that.
Well, I suppose it depends what you're watching/reading. There's a difference between being hooked on stuff like Hellsing, Ergot Proxy, Gunbuster, Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Bubblegum Crisis, Miyazaki films etc. and being hooked on Dragonball Z, Pokemon, Transformers: Energon, Inuyasha and english dubs of One Piece and Tenchi Muyo.
-
LOL. The Spongebob movie was probably one of the worst movies in existence. It almost killed the show for me... but Spongebob is still an awesome show hands down. If you can watch that show for more than 5 minutes without laughing, or thinking it's stupid, then you got like... some sort of disease! :O xD
-
Two for Kim Possible, with the occasional Scifi original movie thrown in when I'm bored.
There is nothing wrong with watching Sci-Fi Original Pictures. Watching those is a patriotic duty. It informs you of very real dangers like robots, space aliens, space alien robots, and ninja mammoths.
Also, they are the only movies brave enough to tell the truth about SS Doomtrooper.
-
There are no two ways about it. Spongebob Squarepants is just plain BAD.
-
The Elen Degeneres show. It's just pretty much funny. During my break from school, I watched it every day at mid day. and then according to Jim and Scrubs. Best hour and a half of my life.
-
neighbours is my embarrassing soap. Cept everytime i check back people have either died, gone crazy/evil something original like that.
-
I know Spongebob Squarepants is bad...plain horrible...but I just can't...keep...myself...from...watching...
Spongebob Squarepants is worse than crack!
-
Raggy Dolls was made by one of the ITV companies and shown on that network. The BBC had nothing to do with it.
-
I am ashamed to admit that I greatly enjoy Gray's Anatomy. I don't know what it is, I just like medical shows.
How is that a guilty pleasure beyond the loss of manly points? It actually gets me chicks.
I'm not really guilty about liking Bones either, since David Boreanaz is always awesome, but it's not a great show. That voodoo one did show some promise, though.
"Jesus is not a zombie!"
-
..Flavor of Love 2
it's not my fault though, I think little heroin molecules get sprayed out of the tv when it's on so I have to watch it
-

I am not proud of this and I got all teary eyed at the episode when the father died.
My excuse is that I have a 14 year old sister and she forces me to watch it. Yeah.
My excuse is that John Ritter is goddamned awesome. I haven't watched any episodes after his death, in case for some sick, twisted reason, I still enjoy it.
-

I need to hold on to the few manly points I still have. I do not have enough for it to be a turn on.

Spongebob Squarepants is worse than crack!
No, no... Gilmore Girls is crack. No one should talk that fast. I used to hate it, but then... my sister... she got me hooked. I dogsat at her house this weekend and I stayed up until 6am watching the season 3 DVDs.
CRACK-HEAD!
That's me.
I'm the crack-head.
Just in case you were wondering.
-
Starting Over.
-
No, no... Gilmore Girls is crack. No one should talk that fast.
Yeah it is. Although I feel no guilt about owning every season and watching it over and over. Actually, I feel no guilt for any show I watch.....well...no....
Survivor.
-
I am hooked on Flavor of Love, 1 and 2. I can't help myself =(
-
I suppose I feel a bit guilty about watching CSI - and all variations thereof - but only because I'm currently at college training to be a real CSI. The 'guilty' part comes in because I know it's not realistic in the slightest, but it's still fun to watch, right?
And reality shows. Survivor, Amazing Race, I'm a junkie, really I am...
-
Hooray for Modern Marvels- that show was awesome
-

Sir, I believe you forgot the infamous Frankenfish. Sci-Fi will have watching my back for abnormally large undead fish for the rest of my life, just in case.
Gotta say, I still love Buffy the Vampire Slayer (seasons 1-3, that is) and Angel. When I can catch the Fairly Oddparents or The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, hell yes also.
I watch CSI/Without A Trace/Law and Order/any other normal crimey show without a trace of guilt.
-
I second The O.C.
But only because of that Seth Cohen, he's just freakin' adorable.
-
I've been watching Sportsnight a lot lately.
It's too good to be funny ;)
-
The Elen Degeneres show. It's just pretty much funny. During my break from school, I watched it every day at mid day. and then according to Jim and Scrubs. Best hour and a half of my life.
I like "According To Jim".
I love how they try to pass off his twisted view of the world as normal for us guys.
Because, you know, it is.
-
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
I'm thinking this counts because it has the word "show" in it's title.
-
I don't watch much TV anymore, but I will watch almost any cartoon. Even shit like the Buzz Lightyear cartoon which I still catch on Toon Disney every so often.
Also, X-Play on G4. This show has gone downhill so steadily it was only this morning while watching it that I realized how terrible it is.
-
I'll pretty much watch whatever my parents watch, and, well... erm. It's terrible programming of every stripe.
That's not what's embarressing. What's embarressing is... I think I like those reruns of Spin City. And, oh god help me, Dharma and Greg.
-
Spongebob Squarepants and Fairly Oddparents.
-
My guilty pleasures:
Desperate Housewives
Neighbours
-
I loved the first season of desperate housewives. They lost me in the second season, but I hear that the third was a lot better.
-
Maid Marian and Her Merry Men. It's guilty pleasure only in that it's so obviously a children's show (written by and starring Tony Robinson) but I still love it enough to persuade people to buy it on DVD for my 22nd birthday. It's still hilarious.
-
Uh..Gilmore girls, the OC, Desperate Housewives, and Greys Antaomy. Yeah...oh, and Ugly Betty,
-

Come on, anything that has Tony Robinson in it automatically gets brownie points! I remember when I used to come in from school and switch on UTV to watch that...
-
I don't watch much TV anymore, but I will watch almost any cartoon.
I'm right there with you. It's like Cartoon Network kills more of my brain cells than whiskey. Any number of shows on that channel could classify as a guilty pleasure for me. In particular, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy is horrible, but I can't stop watching it.
I'd say Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, but I have no guilt about watching that show.
-
I'm not feeling a bit guilty, but...
...enjoying Happy Tree Friends makes me not entirely normal, I'm affraid? :>
-
I watch Smallville reruns. Yeah, I know.
I dont even like DC comics.

Wow....I didn't think anyone else has actually seen those. Some of them were messed up, but I laughed my ass off at a few of them. But, yes, it makes you completely non-normal. :-D
-
Friends, That 70's Show. Eh. . .
-
I am not ashamed of anything I watch, I am however ashamed of the fact that I stayed up until 3am the other day watching reruns of Degrassi.
-
I'll go with Murder She Wrote (for tv) and the Wing Commander movie for the win!
MSW is just awesome, if not formulaic to the max. as for the wing commander movie...well it was on the verge of cheesy greatness till they let the casting director loose. they should be killed for Freddie Prinze(sp?) Jr...ugh... WHY FPJr! WHAT WHERE YOU THINKING! A PLASTIC BAG ACTS MORE CONVINCINGLY THEN HE CAN! (its true, go watch any FPJr movie and then American Beauty.)
-
Spongebob Squarepants and Fairly Oddparents.
I would second them. I was going to add DBZ, but I am a proud fan.
