Well...since you made a thread for it...Witty title, I must say.
Stuporheroes! (http://www.mimmedia.com/stuporheroes/)
mine: Masters of the Art (http://www.mastersoftheart.com)I had no idea you'd been doing that comic for over a year now. :O I promise I'll get around to actually reading it here eventually. I'm kind of one of those people who can't just sit down and read something starting in the middle of it, so getting into a new webcomic is kind of a big ordeal for me.

thanks, glad you like it.
One Liners is pretty sweet.? I dig whoever that is in the Black.
Oh jesus, I am reading Lucid TV and cannot stop laughing.oh man, you do read this page, lucky me! can't thank you enough.
I think I have to link this comic now.
Incidentally, you need to fix your navigation. The "previous" button doesn't seem to work on some comics.

Dude, you do that comic? You are so friggin kick ass!
One-liners (http://www.one-liners.net/)
If you are looking for another comic to add to your trawl list, and you enjoy things like American Pie and Maxim magazine, then check out One-liners (http://www.one-liners.net/), which was created by, and is written by myself, and illustrated by -U! (http://www.garabatorama.com)
One-liners (http://www.one-liners.net/) is a selectively episodic, mostly autobiographical comic about myself, the superlative asshole. Which is a fancy way of saying the strip is comprised of stories from my life, and those I have heard from my friends. It is rife with sexual and dark humour, and again, will make a worthy addition to the trawl lists of those who appreciate the aforementioned types of humour.
But don't take my word for it, let the strips (http://www.one-liners.net/index.php?p=8) speak (http://www.one-liners.net/index.php?p=1) for (http://www.one-liners.net/index.php?p=4) themselves (http://www.one-liners.net/index.php?p=12).
Still not convinced? Then read this review (http://www.fleen.com/archives/2006/10/02/two-liners-are-twice-as-much-work/) and consider the fact that it made it to the finals (http://www.fleen.com/archives/2006/11/14/706/) of the Webcomic Idol (http://www.bombsheltercomics.com/vote.php) competition.
justin - thank you for submitting lucid tv to the webcomics list. I WILL KILL YOU LAST.
I'm surprised being in the Webcomic Idol top ten didn't hurl you on your way to "getting big"
plus i have no friggin idea how to design a webpage....err...lets just say where the f do i start?

Oh man, can someone plkease move this to the webcomic pluggin' thread? Sorry, Official N00b.... I'm socially inept T_T
Anyways I'm Scarlette and I'm new and I didn't know how else to introduce myself!
Just thought I'd pimp my comic while I'm here... http://www.zombolette.com (http://www.zombolette.com)
Or if you feel like commenting, the comics are all on http://zombolette.livejournal.com (http://zombolette.livejournal.com)
I'd love to hear your comments :D there aren't many strips, but hopefully they'll take off soon when I quit being lazy (you know how it is... :/)
thanks scarlette,im only the writer however.
the guy who was backing us financially dipped out so right now im trying to get enough cash together to get the first issue published or put up online.
i think online would prob be my best bet at this point but i need enough cash to pay the artist :(
I work in a clinic, and Lucid TV is even funnier because it has an undercurrent of "funny because it's true!"
Good job.
Lucid TV (http://www.lucid-tv.com)
Man, I just read through you're site and that is freakin funny, I've passed it on to some of my mates too.
But I do have a question, what's the deal with "Human Bear" I've seen it pop up in a few of the comics.
I very much liked reading Stupor Heroes, Lucid TV, and the Devil and Ted. Nice work all of you! Without you, I would be stuck reading random peoples blogs again. Thanks Scissors. Hope you enjoy the new artist and we're almost back to on time with twice a week updates!
Hi everyone....this is my first post ever but this place looked like a good place to get some opinions on my work
I haven't made any series or anyting, just single panel scenes but yeah, what do you think??

The art in your comic is fantastic. I haven't gotten around to reading it yet but be sure that I will. I'm very very impressed at the quality.
Wow. Thanks for checking out my comic. It's my first try at sequential art, so I know it has some major weaknesses, but I'm excited about the story concept, and I'm having a blast drawiing it.I like your style Splintered, kind of reminds me of J Scott Campbell (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._Scott_Campbell). Your artwork's definitely got some high-quality appeal and I'll be checking back on it regularly. Freakin' awesome dude!
Dude, my comic is totally cool.Actually, much as I hate self-aggrandizement, yeah, it pretty much is.

I like your use of halftones. Very nice.
Well , To sum it up , super hero parody comic ... With Jesus as the main character. That sounds fascinating but I can't seem to access it!
Just started it not too long ago , only up to 5 (or 6 depending on when you read this) comics so far
But we have been prepared and have em scripted out to about comic 38.
Hope you like it :-D

GENTLEMEN, I HAVE BEEN BLOGGING.
Did you ever name your characters yet?
Just curious. I'm looking right now and haven't ran into any.
Hey, well thanks for the feedback. And also, I feel dirty when I have to write in celebrity humour. Writing is much harder than drawing and i'm afraid no one will understand allusions to death metal, comic books and other obscure things.
I wouldn't be too scared of that. QC makes indie references no one else gets, and it's still popular :P
:-D
Okay. Thanks, Jeph-y.
Wireheads (http://www.wire-heads.com/istrip) is relatively new. Hitting 70 strips in a couple more postings.
It tells tales of stuff that I've seen or experienced at work, and my work is creating visual effects for movies, etc.
Comic-strip style, continuing storylines, some color.
Tell me what you think. There isn't a Wireheads' Review in existence so far.
Cheers!

OH I HAVE THIS TOTALLY EMO COMIC GUYZ:Very noir-nerrative (which I like when well-done) and the art is very, very good. I'll probably read a-ways into it and post again with more thoughts.

@ Kosh:
Honestly, I think half the people who've plugged their comics in this thread aren't around a whole lot or did it on their first post. One of the reasons we made the thread was to keep all plugs for people like that in one place, and it's actually kept some of them around. I've put at least 2 of the comics posted in here on my regular read list and there's a lot more I've read into and now that I think about it, should probably go back into and see what's been updated. Just a hint: If you're around here more, i think people are more likely to end up reading your comic. Just an FYI.

Oh man, Modern Ruin, I read all the issues of your comic, and it's awesome.
How often do you update? I'm hooked

All kidding aside, I managed to upload a few comics finally. Its hard to do with a modem. www.botscomic.com (http://www.botscomic.com) I would really appreciate it if anyone could leave any kind of feedback, maybe in the forum where it says "feedback"? Please?
Don't ever stop drawing on the yellow paper like that. That's awesome. Very original! Funny stuff.
Oh, I actually visited a comic link, which is a rarity. (like I said, a dial up modem) And it was... sidekickgirl? something along those lines. I like! nice work.
Ok here is my shameless Plug...let me know what you think.

Might as well hop on.
There's actually 3 comics right now on my website. One is finished (My Life with Thrill Kill Karl), one is a follow-up to the finished comic (Pater Noster), and the other one is dumb humour (In the Mind of Vlad Damien). A few more comics will follow, as written on the site.
http://vladdamien.comicgenesis.com (http://vladdamien.comicgenesis.com)
Be warned, the comics are mostly serious and contain mature subject matter - for mature readers preferably (I'm not one to censor or restrain people - if you feel you're mature enough, go ahead).
Hope you like the comics!

Oh dude, I could tell you, but you will feel so cheap and lazy afterwards. I know I do. ARE YOU STILL IN DOGG?
QC is the first webcomic I started reading regulary. I've been doing comics for... 15 years? I put out a few books, one of which got me nominated for an Eisner Award. My webcomic, Nothing Better (http://www.nothing-better.com/), has been online for a little over a year and a half.
Check it out - NOTHING BETTER (http://www.nothing-better.com/).
%100 satisfaction, money-back guarantee - I promise you if you sit down and read Nothing Better, you'll get hooked, and you'll like it.
I hate SuchRubbish.com!!!!
I just read http://www.suchrubbish.com/004.html and pee'd myself.
Thanks
I'd plug my comic, only, it's not on the interwebs, and neither of us writers can draw worth shit.
Then, the point of commenting was...?
Hmmph, well how odd that this gets posted upon the day of my triumphant return.. from .. I don't know..laziness? Anyway, sure I'll bite. I draw The Devil and Ted (http://thedevilandted.com). So .. go read, it doesn't suck not one bit.Im hooked.
Nursethalia, I really like your comic! It's cute. :-)

I really do hope that all these 2nd or 3rd post evah people are actually considering staying and posting more, rather than just dropping their comic plug and leaving again :/ 'cos if that's the case, there's not much point replying w/feedback! Plus I'm curious to know who you all are so I can be more inclined to care about said comic plug.
Anyways, it's nice that so many people are creating things :)
My comic is www.piecomic.com (http://www.piecomic.com)
It's the webcomic you'd do if you weren't busy.

... :-o All I can say is...WOW. I wish I had a smidgen of your talent! Your illustrations are fantastic!
Ok, I know this may look awkward as this is only my second post....but I just started a comic strip thingy...today and I was looking for some feedback.
Oh and remember this first comic is only tester. Second one will have colour and be devoid of awful awful jokes.
Mdoyl, I love that you made a photo comic! Looks like you guys must have fun making them :)Definitely! The best part is making sure our mouths look right for the text. I want to record a photo shoot sometime. Half the time we'll just keep saying the lines over and over, other times we'll start criticizing the others lines and go off on a tangent, but we're all talking at the same time... it's entertaining to say the least.
P-Frank I think it is weird that you are promoting your current comics on these forums considering your last comic totally hated on mine.
We're working on it!! After today I have like 5 days of work and Vicky has her last day of assessments and presentations today, so may spend Friday relaxing then get some more stuff up! Although she has now posted her thoughts on me. All we discussed is the few things we felt should be in there and went off and wrote our own.
blanktom and PrickofDestiny:Now that my exams are over and that I'm getting closer and closer to my favourite bit of the legends (with more characters), I'll probably get content at a better rate, and better quality lineart as well. Although I'm definitely not a pro comic artist, I'm committed to getting that comic on good tracks and improving it. Not necessarily for the dangling carrot of readership or popularity, but because I enjoy entertaining (and spreading knowledge of a topic I'm interested in).
get some more stuff to look at!! :)
Oh yeah, Prickofdestiny, I was gonna say that all that white around your comic is kinda distracting. You have such a gray site that the white pops too much, then takes away from the comic. So what do you think I should do? Should I make the margins grey?
John Allison of SGR gave me that tip when my comic had big white boarders too. I was just hoping to pass it on! :{D
No, not even! A site design might not be too bad, but I think if you cropped the amount of white around the actual comic that would help a lot.Well I guess I *could* make the marble on the background white instead of grey...
I am going to be super harsh, but it's for your own good, I think! This is my subjective opinion and you are allowed to hate me for it. Maybe it's a great design and I just suck.I'm definitely not taking that as jackassery, and appreciate the feedback. I'll take the advice and explain the reason for some of the points criticised :)
General site design... I think maybe you'd be better off with
-a smaller, less intrusive logo
-ditching the flashy IRC link
-ditching the links on the right-hand side to digg, facebook etc
-losing the twitter feed
-losing the archives dropdown over the comic
-removing the quote by Athena
Basically, make sure what gets the attention is the comic, not the extras. The comic is what you're trying to get people interested in, slogging through added extras is just an annoyance - twitter, for example: You're an artist just starting out, so you don't have a lot of regular readers. Regular readers are the only ones who care about the author whatsoever. Right now it looks like you're putting yourself before the comic, that you're doing this for attention, which is not a good thing. Finally, get a different background if you're going to keep the white comic borders, they don't work together at all - preferrably, one that doesn't look like it's from a Geocities page circa 1998.
I may have just now started writing a webcomic...
http://lifeamong.thecomicseries.com/
yes, i shamelessly admit that i just posted this on another forum (http://www.pixietrixcomix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=999&p=121027#p121027) not five minutes ago.
My boyfriend and I recently started PancakeCookie ! (http://www.pancakecookie.com)Your style is adorable.
It's an autobio comic for now, but who knows what the future holds?
It's still in the early stages, and our schedule only allows us to update once a week, but it's been fun to do. :) I hope to keep it going.
(I'd also like to add the ability to comment on comics..but i don't handle the web stuff, my boyfriend does! aaaaaaaaaaa)
Thanks for your time!
All right, I'm just gonna ask you all - Why are you NOT reading Thomas Overbeck's hilarious comic about time travel, Times Like This (http://"http://timeslikethis.com)?The reason I'm not reading it right now is that your link doesn't work... Here's a working link (http://timeslikethis.com/)
If it's because you don't wanna archive binge, well - I've got the thing for you!
The first 460 strips - TRANSCRIBED! (http://www.scribd.com/doc/87355786/TLT-SxS-1-460)
(Keep in mind - some strips are NSFW if you actually read through them.)
All right, I'm just gonna ask you all - Why are you NOT reading Thomas Overbeck's hilarious comic about time travel, Times Like This (http://timeslikethis.com)?I've been going on a gradual archive binge of Times Like This the past couple days, and I do have to say it's pretty good (although I did make the mistake the one day of reading it at work. Got a strange look from a coworker...)

Our good friend TLT Thomas has done it again (http://timeslikethis.com/?id=565) - but I'll bet 99% of the people who read the comic won't get the joke until it's pointed out to them.
