"Jim's Room" is absolutely gorgeous.
Egad, this child is talented.

'Child'? Unless she has suddenly gotten a lot younger since last time I saw her, I think the word lady is more appropriate.
She is incredible. One of the great artists America has produced in the last twenty years.

Pick an album, they are all superb in my mind. Specifically 'Run to Ruin' is exactly how music should sound.

I use child like I use the word "person".
I realize she's a lady.

I haven't listened to her for a while now (heaven knows why) and was just struck all over again by how brilliant her music is. I played her 'On Leaving' album for a friend who'd professed he'd never like her kind of music - an hour later and he was completely converted.
Who wouldn't be?
