Here is a quick update from Neurot HQ:

The new Neurosis album, entitled Given To The Rising, will be released worldwide on Neurot Recordings in May 2007. Look here for the first mp3 from the album, set to be posted on March 8th.

Is anyone else extremenly excited about this record? I heard it's going to be the heaviest thing since Through Silver in Blood. I'm sporting a massive boner already?

I've been excited about this since I first read that they entered the studio.  I just hope that when they tour this album, they play some goddamned shows on the east coast.  I need to see this band before they break up, or I die...whichever happens first.

Those are some fantastic damn rigs. And I like the philosophy behind the record so it will be interesting to see if I like it.
